palouse ice rink

This is a great ice skating rink with a true small town flavor. THE gathering place for Palouse families in winter, friendly staff. Only downfall is no real bathroom. In the summer they take up the ice and use it as a roller rink. Great deals on skating and open hockey, with coupons available in most of the local booklets. This rink supports the local youth and college hockey teams and you can see their team pride throughout the rink, plus huge community support as well. Rink is open from about 7 am to 10 pm, midnight on the weekends.

Palouse Ice Rink has public skate, figure skate, skating lessons, hockey programs, and curling available. It has a 3/4 size covered ice sheet (65' x 160') that is utilized 18 hours a day: it is open seasonally from October to early April. There are rental skates available and free helmets available. However, there isn't a warming room and it has a porta potty instead of bathrooms. There is coffee, hot chocolate, and vending machine snacks available. It is a great local resource of winter activities for families!

How wonderful to have a nicely maintained ice rink right in the heart of Moscow, Idaho. Large full size rink with plently of space to skate. They offer skate rentals for those who don't have their own. Prices are avarage for rentals and rink use. Wonderful place to go in the winter when you want something to do in town.
