The Salmon River near Stanley Idaho is one of few locations where you can drift fly fishing and white water raft on the same trip. The guide service provided lunch and all necessary equipment;they deliver on their promise. Ian the guide, gave advance notice on where to cast the fly line as the river pulled us downstream. The guide rowed the boat upstream to keep us in the sweet spots longer, untangled our fly lines and tied new fly onto the line without being asked. The guide keep us safe through white water and yet found the time to take pictures of us. The riverside lunch was was a welcome addition to a great day on the river. Bring a fishing license, quick drying cloths, camera and have fun!
