This stop is fine if you are already taking advantage of the mini-golf, fisher's popcorn, or watermark next door. But not necessarily worth the trip to see alone.

The location of this Lighthouse is strange to say the least, It is right in the middle of a trailer park. The best access is to park on 146th Street, traffic was light while I was there and this seemed legal. The transpenisular marker and the light house are in the same place. It's a bit disappointing that the lighthouse isn't developed a bit more to celebrate it's history. there was an older women sun bathing outside of her trailer while I stopped and I couldn't help but appreciate the irony and her luck in finding a great location. This is a good example of America and unconstrained capitalism - Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I was so disappointed, as a lighthouse enthusiast that we could not find a place to park in order to explore. Upon driving past, it did not appear there was much it check out, anyway. I love the history of the coast, and it would have been nice to have more access to the lighthouse, or at least a place to park to get a closer look.

A quick stop and a cool experience. We have visited a few times before, but this time it was open. The lady who greeted us was very nice and informative. You aren't able to climb to the top unfortunately. We enjoyed the pictures and items they had inside though. Cool historic site. Only bad thing is there is a old mobile home park right next to it. Kind of brings down the nice factor.

The light dates back to the mid 1850's take the time to stop by and take some pictures and read the historical marker. Limited access as it overseen by local volunteers, check for times when its open mostly weekends. Its the towns most recognized landmark, and worth the time to check out.

When I went to visit it was closed, but I was able to take pictures. I walked to the lighthouse from my hotel. I really love lighthouses, I live in Indiana where there is only one lighthouse. I was really surprise that it was so far inland.

This old lighthouse is kept up by a private group, and therefore has limited hours, but the plaque out front is very informative. The lighthouse sits right in the Mason-Dixon Line between Maryland and Delaware. It's worth a quick visit.

The lighthouse is a great part of the Mid-Atlantic maritime history. The Friends of the Lighthouse do a lot to keep it up. Disappointing that you can't access the stairway to see the lens.

So glad this historic site has been preserved. Although it was closed when we visited it and the setting was disappointing (was in the middle of a trailer park), the history of the lighthouse was available on a sign. Worth a stop by!!

Definitely not your romantic setting, since this lighthouse has mobile homes on one side and condos on the other, but still historically interesting. It was closed but since I really am not fond of heights it did not matter. The marker itself is a real interesting relic. If you really want to visit, plan your times.

I biked by early in the morning, so it was closed. Check tour times before heading over. Placard boards are informative.

The whole experience takes about 15 minutes, so drop by if you are in that part of town. The lady who greets everyone is incredibly nice and has lots of information. The tiny lighthouse is packed with information. The downside is, the hours are limited and you can not climb to the top. On a side note you can stand in DE and MD at the same time. ;-)

We were very disappointed. They are all open a few hours and at different time of the year. Would not go back there.

The light house is locate right on the Maryland and Delaware border as far as I could tell. The hours were hand written from 9-12. We got out and took photos and read the plaques. If you like lighthouses call for hours or go early in the morning. We did not go up the light house.

Remember when I was little I could see the lighthouse light every night I went to sleep. It wasn't until I grew up that I realized what an important role it played in Fenwick's history. Keeping ships safe with the light!
