I say if it's open, as the site is only open on selected times during the year. Check before you go. The collection of stanley steamer vehicles is the best I have seen. The presence of mr. Marshall at some times adds considerable color to the site, if he is there you can't miss him. The ride on scale steam trains are truly amazing with a layout that includes tunnels. These trains like the cars are very rare and well shown.

This home is beautiful from the exterior and the grounds are very pretty. The old car museum on the property holds some beautiful cars. On steamin days the home is open for a tour. I was a bit disapointed in the tour. The house itself is old, however it has been updated throughout the years, and is now decorated mostly in a late 80's style.For children on the Steamin days, there are train rides, carriage rides, free popcorn. At most a couple hour experience with kids, not much more to keep them busy.Another bonus to this property is that Mr. and Mrs. Marshall are often on hand to discuss the property. Very nice friendly people!

Part of the Auburn Heights Preserve. Fun museum for both kids and adults with various steam engines, trains, cars on display. Some hands on displays. On this particular visit they demonstrated on how they started and maintained a steam based car - very interesting and worth look-in. There is a movie worth watching on the history of steam. Train rides and steam car rides are available on premises. If you have young kids and want to get out this is definitely worth a visit.
