An odd smell throughout. Not just near fast food (yuck) and the friend food place. It is all around. Just not my kind of place
The Concord Mall offers a lot of stores including Macy's,Boscovs, Bath andBody Works etc. They also have a Ruby Tuesday which is where we ate.there is a food court also.Kohls Dept Store is across the road also.Down the road is Target, Lowe's, Bed Bath and Beyond, TJ Maxx andMany others.
The mall was bright, open, huge and contained all the big stores - Macy's, Boscov's, and more than I can remember. Really nice.
shopping was accessible, with lots of stores. Because this was a family reunion, there were lots of forgotten item. Having the mall and stores nearby was a planner gem!
Shopping in this mall is quite satisfying. There are numerous store selections that everyone will definitely find at least one of interest. Each store is also quite spacious.
We really enjoyed walking around this mall. It was clean, and each store had good service and lots to choose from. H&M is really large as is Macy's. We discovered Chick Fil A here and just had to eat dinner. I love their chocolate shakes! The fountains are pretty in the center of the mall and nice to look at while resting. There is also a Chinese family that does massage. I had never had a professional massage in my life, and lately my lower back has been bothering me, so when my wife asked me if I wanted to, I figured why not? I only went in for ten minutes and really like the way they did things. They had a professional table that you lay face down on with drapes pulled all around me and nice soft music while she worked my back. It felt really good, and I foresee many more massages in the future now! Why in the world did I wait so long is my only question.
We went to Christiana Mall which has a good Macy's and Nordstrom's, but this mall also has a Macy's. My wife is petite and usually the better clothes--Ralph Lauren, etc. are not petite. This store has the best selection of petite moderate and upper scale clothes in her size--2 petite. Rare to find this.
A nice mall with a small food court. It has all the usual cast of mid-priced stores. Nothing high end here. It is clean and well maintained.
Love to go to this Mall ... It is a smaller Mall, but has a little of everything. Good shopping and restaurants. Nice place to walk. Fun for all ages.
Despite it's small size, it has a variety of stores and makes it a lot easier to shop tuan King of Prussia or Christiana. The food court isn't anything spectacular - but it has great food! (I reccomend China Express for all those Chinese lovers!) Overall - a nice mall!
This mall calls the police on women who feed their children in their mall. The response from their staff on facebook depicted breastfeeding as an eyesore and suggest the bathroom as a better place to breastfeed. When was the last time you ate in a mall bathroom, how do you expect a newborn or infant to eat in one?
The Concord Mall is a very nice mall. It is only one level except for the anchor stores. There are a good variety of stores in this mall and everything is easy to navigate. There are enough places to eat inside including Ruby Tuesday, Sabarro's, Chick-fil-a, and other smaller food shops. You can probably finish this mall in 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Very close to hotel. Lots of the usual stores. No sales tax in DE!
This is a very clean mall with a nice atmosphere. It has 3 anchors: Macy's, Boscov's, and Penney's; and Boscov's and Penney's have much better selections than the stores in the Granite Run Mall.
People constantly travel to Delaware from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey for the tax-free shopping. Many of them go for the glam and glitter of the Christiana Mall which is much bigger. However, I prefer going to the Concord Mall. The mall has Boscov's, Macy's, and Sears' department stores and is lined by the other usual stores one would find in a mall. Contrary to the Christiana Mall, the Concord Mall is more a place to go buy something and less a place to wander and window shop (though you can do that too). The goods in the stores are usually reasonably priced and at least one of the department stores always has some sort of sale going on. All three department stores have furniture as well. Because it is less popular, many of the smaller stores in the mall come and go. The food court is much smaller and, like any other mall, is priced much higher than the food you could easily get outside the mall. Across the street, there are several restaurants: Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Lone Star Steakhouse, TGI Friday's, Applebee's, and Famous Dave's BBQ. I've been to the Concord Mall and various times of the year. Even when I went once on Christmas Eve, the mall was busy but still navigable and less stressful. Unlike the Christiana Mall (where I usually have to park at the bus terminal), I've never had a problem finding a decent parking spot. Overall, the Concord Mall is a great place to go for tax-free shopping. It is usually free of the hectic busyness and wandering teenagers that the Christiana Mall suffers from.
