big john statue

The statue is pretty cool and very big, but its also a nice stopping point to look around a small little town.

The statue got me off the highway to check it out but it was really walking around this little town that really made me glad i did.

The statue is OK. Probably a good photo op. If you take photos of people standing by it -- you will see how truly large it is. As I recall it is in front of the local library which is an interesting building (with rounded corners).

This statue is just down the road from a museum that details the area's rich history. It's also in the middle of Historic Helper, in the arts district. Lots to see, all within walking distance.
