It is very beautiful but the wind is brutal, we could barely get the boat loaded and one of the grandkids slid under the boat. Luckly I was a navy man and everything turned out ok. We recommend it for the beauty but if the wind picks up get off the lake!

Very pretty place, Boating with boat ramp , very nice swimming beach, and a very nice campground. The lake is beautiful.

Hiking was dusty and not very scenic. Pretty park for a picnic by the creek. Not much else to tell the truth.

I went camping here for two nights in June and it was lovely. Such a beautiful setting with the lake and red cliffs surrounding it. We stayed there and visited Zion and Bryce Canyon. Very close to both. It was extremely hot when we went but we were able to spend the late afternoons in the lake which was very refreshing. Nice bathrooms that were clean but no shower. Only complaint would be there is very little shade and it can get windy (which I didnt mind so much because it was so hot).

We got into Hurricane at around noon on the first of our 2 days in/around Zion. Our second day was our full day in Zion (which was plenty unless you're an avid hiker and want to check out multiple trails), so we used the afternoon to go Quail Creek State Park. We spent a few hours in the afternoon sitting on the "beach", and went in the water a bit. Other people were swimming, and looked like an OK place to camp (very little shade and/or privacy, though). We came back later in the evening for a picnic by the lake. This was a great discovery that we wouldn't have been able to enjoy unless we had stayed in Hurricane!

A fairly basic campsite, toilets but no showers. Mixed tents and caravans/RVs, quite a bit of noise from neighbours at campfire until 11:30pm. No park supervision at night. Lovely setting, but you get what you pay for in terms of facilities.

If you are camping in a tent, you may want to check out the wind situation first. The campground itself is very nice and the scenery is lovely. It's also in a great location near Zion and St. George.

We love everything about this lake, clean and peaceful. Great creek to kayak or canoe up...we have seen turtles and trout galore! Fishing is awesome and there is hiking all over. One of the dams is an ancient Indian intersection for Anasazi traveling. One of the best place to recreate in Southern Utah. hands down our fav...we live very close and have played in all the local lakes!

lago muito bonito, paisagem incrível. Quem gosta de acampar é uma boa opção, mas a estrutura é bem básica.
