The tour guides and guests were packed into two vans, and hauling the inflatable rafts, we set off for our Split Mountain Gorge day trip. The price of the ticket includes a one day pass to Dinosaur Nat'l Park that is good for a week from issue. Our guides were careful to discuss safety procedures before we even got in the rafts. At lunchtime, it was demonstrated with great care and logic, how building a lunch burrito was actually a geological process. The rafting was easy, with enough small rapids to be fun. The river route was beautiful, with several herds of big horn sheep browsing along the river's edge. The guides explained what we were seeing with humor as well as knowledge. Fun little trip!
