The owner is a great guy and really seems to enjoy his business. He gives you good info on the fish and even gave me some things for free to try. His sons were up there and even gutted my fish for me. My only gripe is I have had a hard time getting a hold of him in May and June to reserve a boat. Last couple years I had to rent from bear paw because of this reason. Which bear paw does not take care of there boats at all. Hopefully next year I will be able to rent from Rocky Point.

During June, 2014 my wife and I rented one of the smaller boats for a couple of days of fishing. We had never fished Panguitch Lake before but thanks to good advice and assistance from Dave we have had several good meals of fat and tasty trout. For those of you who would prefer to leave the field dressing of the fish to someone else, employee Austin is more than willing to perform that chore. All in all it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back!
