The tour guide on this free tour was very informative and provided great insight into the early days of the Mormons (Later Day Saints - LDS).

Took my girls here for a fun activity on a girls trip to St. George. It was so interesting to hear the history of the home and the area. So much to see in the home. I love to see history and experience it and this was awesome. Plus it is FREE. I have been to a lot pricey historical tours and this one beat most of them.

Great tour with some interesting insight to the early settlers of the area. It is amazing what they built in the desert.

We enjoyed the history of this place, especially my wife, who absolutely loves history. This was quite interesting. Plan on 30 minutes as you have to take the tour, but the missionaries do a great job with it. Interesting to learn how St George got it's name, too!

This was far more interesting than we ever expected. It gave us a real sense of the times and histories of those early Utah settlers. The guide was even happy to discuss the Mormon view of evolution and responded to our barrage of questions with equanimity. Also, the area is filled with homes from that period, which you can at least see from the outside.

Great experience...we got a good idea of how and why Mormons settled in this area. Good guide who answered all our questions.

Brigham Young built this home late in his life. He also built a temple and a tabernacle. The folks that run the tours are missionaries filled with wonderful stories of their history. We have learned a lot about the Mormon religion in three days of wandering around St. George. See this house, the temple, the tabernacle, and the Hamblin House. Ask lots of questions.

The house is beautiful and very interesting to see as well as hearing the stories of how the pioneers lived. It's a treat to your eyes and mind. Takes you back to a simpler time.

It's not as old as most places but this place has been kept as If Brigham were still around. The missionary who conduct the tour are fun and engaging for young kids. The small vineyard and crop growing is fun. It's free and fun. It's not too far off the main road an is good piece of American history.

Gave a good look at what life was like for the early settlers in the St George area. Also gave insight into what type of person Brigham Young was. Also located close to good places to eat.

The gentleman that took us through this home was very pleasant and explained the home and history very well as well as some info on the Mormon religion which I did not know alot about. I was glad to have visited. This gentleman made it a much richer experience than it would have been had we just walked through the home.

Bring Young and Old (well old only if you can climb steep steps !) Brigham Young's home I a Treasure of History for all to enjoy and besides that it is in St. George, Utah downtown where within a few blocks are many other Historical sites to be seen.

We love history and really enjoyed the old part of St. George. The tour guide was thorough and we learned about the history of the Mormon church coming to the area.

We were able to take the last tour at 4:30 pm and it was utterly amazing. Seeing the home and its history and they tried to keep it's original structure etc makes it very realistic. Even Brigham Young needed to escape the cold from SLC and get to heat.

A pleasant and informative free tour. If you appreciate history or antiques you will likely enjoy. Only had to wait a few minutes for the tour to begin. Easy street parking available.
