Attended a session at the Temple with other family members. Loved the grounds, and the inside was beautiful. Took time to have a special family experience with my cousins. This was the part of the reason for the trip, and we were able to visit with our son and his family.

Wonderful place to experience the rich history of St. George Utah and the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. Beautiful and interesting, what a peaceful place to feel the spirit.

After reading a few other reviews, it was clear that you could no go in the temple if you were not Mormon, but that the visitors center would still be a great place to visit to get a greater understanding of the temple and the faith. We did not experience that. We went to the visitors center, were immediately greeted by a female who took us to the back of the visitors center and showed us 3 8x10 pictures of three different parts to the temple. We were then shown the huge table covered in versions of the LDS book in all of its translations and asked if we would like a free copy. I would have loved a history of the temple or some sort of explanation, but did not feel very welcome.

Being we are not LDS, the temple is not open to visitors However, there is a visitors center which offers a history of the temple and a film about the impact of being LDS in today's world. There are numerous hosts available to answer any questions you might have.Free admission.

I love this beautiful temple. Just to walk the grounds is a piece of Heaven. The visitors center is awesome too, there are great places on the grounds to take photographs and spend time together as a family.

It is not only beautiful but also historical. A lot of the history of St. George centers around the LDS religion. I love to see it from a distance too. The White up against the red rock mountains is extraordinary.

The temple is an impressive building and the grounds are pretty, and you can walk around and admire it, but other than that there's nothing to see, so allow 10 minutes. The visitor center is very small and is part of the 10 minutes. Much more interesting is the Tabernacle downtown not far away.

This a great place to experience the history of St. George. It is a fun relaxing place to take a break when traveling through the area.

Regardless of your religious affiliation, the St. George Temple is a must see while visiting St. George. The visitor's center and temple grounds are very peaceful. The St. George Temple is one of the most beautiful buildings you will ever see. The visitor's center offers information on the history of the St. George Temple, as well as the beliefs of the Mormon church, through movies, interactive displays, and a welcoming staff who can answer any questions you may have about the building or the Mormon church. I would highly recommend visiting the St. George Temple!

This pioneer building painted white to represent purity is a beacon in the center of St. George day or night. The grounds with their flowers (and in December Christmas lights) are very beautiful. The information on Mormonism in the visitors center (open every day from 9 am to 9 pm) is enlightening. There is information about the pioneer construction, photos of the interior of the temple, and a very uplifting 3-minute presentation at the Christus statue.

We've been to lots of temples and grounds, these are our absolute favorite temple grounds around. So much space to walk and think and sit, and so peaceful. And the temple itself is the oldest in Utah, and absolutely beautiful. There is a church right across the street that has sacrament meetings at 9, 11, and 1, and the temple grounds/visitors center are open on Sunday til 9pm. Perfect way to spend the day. We loved watching Meet the Mormons at the Visitors Center

Was only able to go into the visitors center, of course, but learned that this is the first temple built in Utah when all this time, I assumed it would be the one in SLC. I am not Mormon/LDS, so I had no idea but interesting anyway.

The St. George Temple is a beautiful structure and has gorgeous grounds to walk. The visitor's center is really very helpful and a lot can be learned, not only about the religion but about the history of the temple and site.

The visitor center is free and friendly with lots of info on the Mormon Church. The grounds are well kept and beautifully manicured. A great place to find peace.
