Be sure not to miss the side path on the Queens garden trail which takes you to the Queen Victoria hoodoo. It really looks like a statue of her on a pedestal.

This is the reason people walk the Queen's Garden trail. It is pretty cool, even to this jaded old guy.

Incredible as it sounds, the hoo doo captures the essence of Victoria regally sitting. Once again the story of coyote rings true here again.

Very interesting how these hoodos are shaped. The only thing Queen Victoria is missing is she is not wearing black! If she could see Bryce's depiction of her, she would be horrified!

I'm not trying to hate on the formation itself, but really, how did somebody look at this thing and see Queen Victoria? Even when the photo there showing you what to look for, and the comparison photo of the actual Queen that inspired this guy, I still think it's a pretty big leap. There are plenty of other formations around that don't get official names that are just as amazing and even a person with only an iota of imagination could look at those and see what they look like.

Short trail, with no difficulties, but with awesome views.Only problem is the crowd: go there first thing in the morning. Not to be missed

Looked just like the image of Queen Victoria. The garden is at the end of the Queen's Garden trail, at 0.9 miles. Look up and you'll see the queen.

We saw this on the ascent from the Navajo loop. The resemblance to the statue of Victoria in London is uncanny. Even if one doesn't do the whole loop, one should do the Queen's Garden trail

Often I have seen rock formations and other things that take a lot of imagination to see what they claim to be but in this case the rock formation actually looks like Queen Victoria in profile seated in a large dress - just like the picture on the NPS interpretive sign. To find Queen Victoria, take the Queen's Garden Trail from Sunrise Point for about 0.8 mile and then the short spur trail to the east. At the end of the spur trail to the north is a large orange Hoodoo with a lighter colored section at the top which is the Queen Victoria rock formation.

Take the time to do this hike (need good hiking shoes in the winter). Breathtaking views. You can be up close to the Hoodos and feel the place.

Make sure you take the extra walk out to see this!

The Queens Garden/Navajo Loop trail is one that should not be missed. The side trail to see Queen Victoria is short--and so is she. You really have to look up to find her! Go before she is gone with the wind!!!

Queen Victoria herself, is no spectacular Hoodoo in any way, it is a Hoodoo that seems to look like Queen Victoria. However the hike to Queen Victoria (either from sunset or sunrise points, is definitely one of the prettiest hikes ive ever taken. It happens to be the only hike into the canyon that i took in Bryce, so I am not comparing it to other kines in Bryce, but to other hikes around the world. Bryce in itself is so different from every other view ive ever seen and definitely one of the prettiest, but walking down into tha canyon between the Hoodoos, is ten times better then seeing them from above. As you walk down the Hoodoos start "growing" larger around you, they are much bigger then they seem from above and I personally felt like Alice in wonderland as she is shrinking and the world is growing around her, Not only the size of the hoodoos changes but your perspective of them, the up and close view of the large rocks standing on thin little tips of spires is so awe striking and unfathomable, I believe that many film makers who depicted outer space got there ideas from Bryce Canyon. The views and experience are so amazing in part because they are SO different from what we expect to see in a view. Highly Recommended!!!
