Absolutely gorgeous place. I came for a choral concert in the afternoon and it was just sublime. Definitely worth seeing...and if you can, catching a live concert!

Very beautiful church with marvelous acoustics. It is a nice 10-minute walk from downtown. The church is located just outside the central downtown area. This would be about a 20-minute walk from the convention center or 15 minutes from Temple Square.

This was actually within walking distance and it was a wonderful visit. Amazing choir!! Even the people walking in to mass were so friendly.

Visited at night but was stunning!!! It was easy to find and easily accessed with parking in the back. I really loved the church.

We went to 5:00 Mass at the Madeleine and were stunned by the beauty of the interior. Beautifully kept and maintained. Inspiring!

This is a must to visit. Very close to downtown. Its on a busy street so parking can be hard to find at times. But its a must to visit.

All the paintings inside give her a taste of old cathedral even if it was built in 1900. Going there to listen to their spectacular choir is awesome!

When I walked into the Cathedral I was stunned. It is simply breathtaking. The sacred art is perfect, but the vibe that of a working Church, not a museum. If you're Catholic, consider spending some time with the magnificent tabernacle behind the altar. If you're not, simply enjoy the peace of the place.

What a great place to visit ! The stained glass is fantastic ! if you go there, make sure you take the church tour, ( it's free ) . Also what a wonderful,peaceful place to just sit and admire the architectural design and overall feeling .

I attended mass with family who were visiting and am so glad to have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful cathedral. The interior is stunning. I would like to return when I can spend time looking at each stained glass window. This church is filled with light. Acoustics were good, but the choir was sparse the day we attended. Take the side street to the west of the cathedral to access the parking lot. As another reviewer notes, parking is limited. After a service, take advantage of the many restaurants nearby.

My husband and I are not Catholic but we did walk in and visit during a mass and it was very nice. The building is historic and beautiful.

Be respectful. But don't miss the beauty of the interior. Which is barely rivaled by the 1800's era, architecturally stunning exterior.

Beautiful Catholic Cathedral! The only issue around the Cathedral is that there is limited parking. A lot of homeless people and beggars also hang around outside.

We attended a Saturday vigil mass here and were warmly welcomed, but there are a lot of homeless around who also wander in for mass. The music as beautiful as is the church itself.
