We visited the museum while in Athens and liked it a lot. There were many displays with local history. The staff was very helpful, even showing us a map of other places of interest in the area.

if 1 is a history buff this is the place to go . this museum has so much to offer . it really gives great detail from early 19 hundred's .

The museum offered a great taste of what life was like in Athens, TN, back in the 1900's.
