A very simple but moving presentation of the attempted integration of Clinton High School. Our visit started with a simple but moving introduction and overview as told by a young woman of the ensuing struggle. It is story of courage demonstrated by average people who took gutsy steps to follow court orders to integrate the school including a white student leader, a white minister, the principal and the brave students and their families who stood up to the violence and hatred. The exhibit finishes with an in-depth interview by Edward R. Murrow which is still surprisingly relevant interviews of the principals. James Earl Jones narrated a DVD of the event as well. We are grateful to have seen it.
