This is our second family trip to Gatlinburg in 5 years and this zipline was the best! Jedi Mike and Tucker were great guides. Safety is always first but this does not compromise a great time. My husband and I were matched with a large group of 8 strangers which was intimidating at first, but in the end the guides had us all feeling like old friends. The ziplines over the pigeon river were amazing! Do not look any further for the best zipline in the area. The most bag for your buck! Can't wait to return!

We rolled into town about 15 miles away. Looked in the hotel lobby and found the pamphlet for white water rafting. We called and they said they were running. We picked the 3pm time, went shopping for some clothes to wear then headed out. Was met by a very pleasant staff. We were early and they talked to us about several things including what to expect. We did the mandatory instruction meeting, met our guide Stretch (Steve), hopped on the bus and rode a short distance to the river. There was a little rain, but who cares, you are going to get wet anyway. He ask who was brave enough for the front and we wanted it! It was a great ride. Stretch made the trip safe, fun and full of good direction and information. When we arrived by river back to the office we were offered hot showers. In the office, they had 15 pictures of our boat on the screens. Buy one or all, they didnt push just made the offer. Needless to say, we bought them all. They put them on a CD, we purchased a T-Shirt and headed back to our room with some great memories!

This was our second trip with Wildwater on the Upper Pigeon River. Great guide (Jordan) who made the trip fun and exciting. Had a water release before we arrived so the river was great and Jordan threw everything at us we asked for. Do 360 in class 3 rapids was fun. Staff is always nice, helpful and fun. Nice safety instructions before going. I know each year after Labor Day the water release is questionable, good water last year on September 10th and better this year on the 9th, either way I think Jordan would have found a way to make it fun. I'm sure we will be back again next year, same time.

My husband and I wanted to do zip lines and rafting all in one day since we were only visiting TN for four days. Wildwater rafting was the only place I could find that offered this package. We did the waterfall canopy tour, the safari jeep tour, and 5 mile rafting tour of the upper pigeon river. All of our guides were funny, informative and helpful. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat! If you do a canopy tour before your rafting trip, you may want to wait to buy your zip lining pics until you see your rafting pics (if you don't plan on buying both). We bought our zip lining pics and when we saw our rafting pics, we wished that we had bought them instead. Other than that, two thumbs up. Oh yeah, it came with lunch, too, which was very good.

This was our first White Water Rafting adventure and we were very pleased with Wild Water Upper Pigeon River. The guides were entertaining while teaching rafting safety! The dam released water twice on the day we were there so we had a very exciting ride with Level 2, 3, and 4 rapids. It was a fun and exciting trip down the river. Gale was a Super Guide.

I rafted the Upper Pigeon with our Boy Scout troop on Saturday afternoon, September 6th, 2014. We had the best time ever! The facilities were good, the staff were friendly and helpful -- especially since we were a large group (more then 20) and the exact number in our party kept changing up to the last minute. The guides were great, the equipment was in excellent condition, and the upper section of the river was just right for the skill level of the scouts.

I understand you cannot control when the dam will release water, but you knew before we left that it was not going to happen. We should have been offered the chance to not go. Apparently the other companies did that since we were the only rafts on the river. Our guide Tom was excellent and made the uneventful trip interesting.

Had a fantastic time on the river, great company to go rafting with! It was a busy Labor day weekend but we had a blast! Josh, our river guide was fantastic, he made it a great trip!! Thanks Josh!

We had a family of 6 raft the upper Pigeon - 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 12 year olds. Wildwater was great and the entire process was operated effectively from the initial reservations to the end. I've actually used them several times over the years and have not been disappointed in the service.

Highly recommend. Great for adults and teens. Will be back next summer. Be sure to request the Tennessee surfing!

Crazy us, we scheduled the white water rafting for our whole family and my husband doesn't swim and is afraid of the water. Being the good sport he is, he went without a visible problem. We were given John as a guide and honestly, I wouldn't have wanted any other guide in our boat. He was very professional and capable to handle the trip down the river on his own, without even needing our help I'm sure. He had us put our oars in the water a few times, but I think that just made his job harder really. John was more than qualified to keep my husband safe which was my main concern. He was very knowledgable when it came to the river, both reading the waves, and knowing types of trees and birds along side it, which I enjoyed hearing about. He answered all the questions our 10 year old son asked him and was actually just an overall Godsend for our family's trip. It could not have worked out any better. Thank you John! You have no idea how you blessed our family. :)

My family and I went whitewater rafting this weekend and had a blast! Mike O. was a great guide who walked us through each step and made sure my kids would be safe. I highly recommend Wildwater for the best possible rafting experience!

Was a great experience. Our rafting guides name was Mike O. and he was an excellent guide. He was very experienced. If you have never been whitewater rafting I would highly recommend using wild water rafting and this guide.

Mikeo was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel incredibly safe. It was our first rafting trip and we were a bit nervous but he made sure we lightened up and had a great time! I will definitely request him as my guide the NEXT time! We had a wonderful time!
