hands on! regional museum

Although there were some un-needed changes to "Hands On!" it is still a great place for young children to learn and have fun as well as for the adults to enjoy and learn! There are many exhibits and many learning stations. We loved the art room as well as the grocery area. "Hands On!" offers a great experience for children which is rare around this area. It's a great place to go on a rainy day!

We are very sorry you did not enjoy your most recent visit but welcome your feedback. Currently, the newsroom exhibit has completed it's renovations and is the new Physics Lab. This exhibit features several interactive areas that allow visitors to experiment with air pressure, motion, and force. We've always loved the Hands On! museum... and I say always because we went there a lot when I was a child! A lot of the museum is the same as it was 10+ years ago. Still, it's a fun place for the kiddos and they seem to really enjoy it. And for the price, it's worth it.

Fun, many things that interested the kids. I had two of my kids with me -,daughter (age 9) and son (age 4), and they had a good time. Could have had a little more to see and do, though, considering we drove 2 hours from Knoxville to check it out...
