WOW. we came here for the first time and were so pleased with our adventure that we bought an annual pass. Plenty of well maintained trails for hiking and biking. Many programs offered throughout the year as well. We arrived as the gates opened and were glad we did because after a few hours the parking lot was nearly full.

This park has hiking trails, wildlife galore, and beautiful scenery. There are otters, turtles, deer, birds, wolves, etc. They also have programs you can attend and a planetarium. They also have an adventure rope course I haven't tried but looks awesome! Highly recommend!

I love love love watching the wolves. The total best is the wolf shows, produces a few times a week. There are tons of beautiful walking trails that I enjoy, and bring my dog to walk often. The planetarium is great also.

Bay's mountain has trails that nearly anyone of fair to excellent fitness can enjoy. There are relatively level loops around the lake, and more challenging trails to the top of the mountain. Or, just relax and enjoy the wolves, adjacent to the parking lot. With the planetarium and telescopes, there is much more to enjoy on bay's mountain. Bring your camera!

Bays Mountain is a scenic visit that epitomized the area and the wolves and planetarium were wonderful!!!! Don't forget to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy!

Yes. Just go. It's a great place. From barge rides to a planetarium show to stuffed animals to wild animals to many miles of hiking trails, Bays Mountain has it all. It's clean and nice. A real family place.

It is so nice to go there, peaceful..take a good book (or Ebook) and get lost in time.I love it in the spring time, not too hot not too many people there.

If your wanting somethig cheap and affordable to take your kids out to do this is perfect. I havent been to the new exhibits theyve added, but Im sure when my kids get older we def. Will.

I have grown up going to this park . I now take my family . It is a place that Kingsport gets a great bang for tax dollars spent . Well worth the cheap admission price as well . I suggest anyone visiting the area or live within a day's drive come enjoy a look at nature in a clean and peaceful setting with many different things to see & do .

Entrance fee per car is $4, unbeatable!Nice staff, best park i have visited so far, and well preserved. Don't forget your camera! Missed the planetarium but will surely revisit this place.Will recommend for this Couples (old and young), singles, family, dates, hikers and all park lovers even if its for a few minutes drive through.

This place is the perfect place to take your children. The animals seem to be well fed and taken care of, from the wolves to the snakes. The park rangers are very friendly and helpful. The main building is like a mini museum which most children love. On the inside they have a lovely planetarium, models, an actual living bee hive, a mini aquarium of local fish, and some dinosaur bones. If you got to the picnic area you will see deer and you will be able to get close to them, but please do not feed them. The trails are wonderful and lead you to all the animal exhibits. This park is a huge part of my childhood, the only bad thing I can say is where did the otters go?

Others were skeptical of me wanting to visit here. Even our local family hadn't been here in some 30 years. There was some concern about the roadway. Turned out just fine. It was so beautiful up on top.The wildlife reserve/refuge was a highlight as well. Animals seemed very happy and more free than the average zoo. Wolves, deer, otter, bobcats & some reptiles. Lots to see. We just happened to be there when they were feeding the wolves. I believe they do this only 2 or 3 times a week. Employees had lots of information. The pond was also beautiful. A great place to enjoy the outdoors of Tennessee. Only $4 per car.

We recently went to this park and it is on top of a mountain. It is well maintained and has a planetarium as well as a telescope to view the sun and stars outside. They had otters,deer,wolves,snakes and bob cats to see. A barge ride is available to go out on the lake. A trail that goes all around the lake and many more. This is a must see if you visit Kingsport.

Beautiful park in the city limits. Great programs in the planetarium and with Naturalists throughout the park. A variety of trails all in a great wooded setting and a pristine lake. Highly recommended!
