We stopped by the Capitol Theatre to get a cup of coffee from the shop attached to the Capitol. What a beautifully renovated theatre!! It would be a fabulous venue to have a wedding reception. Very, very well done!

I visited the coffee shop and had an excellent mocha. The theatre is stunning, very upscale and themed. Awesome!

I love photographing weddings here....the decor is awesome and the whole building has quirky areas that are perfect for ooh to shoots...check out the man cave...I could shoot all day in there!!! Great staff, always helpful and it has such a cool retro feel...plus it's just 300 feet to my photography studio also in the historic area...a win-win place!!!

The Capitol Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Maryville, TN and offers a very cosmopolitan venue in the otherwise historic downtown.This original movie theater has been converted to a lovely art gallery, coffee shop, and very New York-style dinner theatre setting that is very popular for wedding receptions, reunions, and any happy occasion. The owners are the artists-in-residence and offer the wonderful southern hospitality to their clients.

The Capitol Theatre is absolutely breathtaking . I loved that we were married on a stage so that all your guest can see and hear you clearly. My guest walked in on a red carpet making them feel like celebrities. The staff were exceptional host . Our wedding day was blazing hot and the staff offered us water after we were taking pictures outside. Planning my wedding was a breeze with the coordinator. She helped me with very step from picking my center pieces to making the wedding day schedule. I was able to pick and choose from their selections of center pieces, catering, and music to personalize my wedding. We even had our names on the marquee. We were able to get beautiful pictures inside the theatre and outside in the middle of down town Maryville. My reception was a blast! The DJ played music that everyone loves, even my grandmother was on the dance floor! After the wedding , my guest could not stop talking about how much fun they had.

Is it spectacular to behold. The restoration is superb. I am a former board member of a local charity, and we held several events there. Whether we were eating, dancing, or bidding on auction items, the Capitol delivers! You just have to see how beautiful it is.

I have been to several events at the Capitol Theatre in Maryville, TN. The facility is one of a kind! The light system, main theater, baloney theater room and "man-cave" is nothing short of AWESOME! The event coordinator, Debbie is always very professional and efficient! She went above and beyond! Such a delight to work with! All of the guest raved about the catering! If only they had a restaurant :) The DJ kept the party going and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night. I HIGHLY recommend the Capitol!

Very quaint place. If you have the time to go visit, please do so. You won't be disappointed. Take a walk through downtown Maryville while you're at it. Nice town.

I was there celebrating with a group of special needs adults and it could not have been any better. The decor was awesome and everyone was so nice and helpful.

My husband's work place came to the Capitol Theatre for their Christas Party more than once. The first time I walked in there I was amazed that Maryville had such a beautiful, nice place to entertain. The decor is just lovely. It's just a perfect place for parties. The first time we went we had a wonderful buffet then watched a movie. The second time we had a buffet that was equally as good and we had a DJ and danced and did all kinds of funny, good clean fun skits. Just had a ball. I recommend this place to all types of groups. Don't know if they still have the upstairs theatre screen with a serving area, tables, counter tops, couches or not but I went there another time with my Sunday School class and that area is really nice too. It's just a great place.

Our daughter had her wedding there last year, from start to finish it was perfect. We had so many compliments and my daughter had the wedding of her dreams!

This is an amazing place....Old theatre restored but with class & charm. They rent it our for all sorts of different evens...A must see if in the area.
