We heard that the water level was high and it was the time to hit the river. We arrived and yes the water level was great, the scenery on the river was amazing but our guide did not hit the rapids to get the most out of the trip. Someone told us that other companies have more experienced guides and wish we would have listened. The Ocoee River is a definite must!!

This was the first time I had done white water rafting and I was a bit nervous. We had the safety briefing and then they took us to the river in an old school bus. Our guide was Dave. He was a bit mad but really knows his stuff. This was the most fun I have ever had. Highly recommended.

This was my first time White Water Rafting. Our guide Jarod was on point and knows the river like the back of his hand. He allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our time and made sure we could always get ourselves out a tight spot. Perfect location for a beginner or experienced. Your guide makes the trip safe and fun. Cant wait to go again. A+++ High Country!!!

we went on an afternoon rafting trip on the middle ocoee river with high country. very fun. very professional. very reasonably priced. there were six of us, including two children, and we all had a blast! our guide, blueberry, was awesome; he knew the river exceptionally well and guided us not only safely but also with a lot of info about where we were, what we were doing, and what rapids we were passing through. overall a great time was had by all.

We loved our Team building exercise!!!!! I took my leaders and we had more fun together than we have ever had! Ben Potter was an amazing guide. I laughed so hard!

The guides are very nice and enthusiastic. They know the river well enough to accommodate every experience and ability level. My raft was full of people in good shape that wanted the adrenaline rush. We got it! Another raft had older people and heavier set people. That raft was taking a smoother path. You don't just go along for the ride, though. You have to help carry the raft and propel the raft. Really fun outdoor adventure!There are no lockers and the bathrooms are very tiny. Pictures are immediately available, which is great. The bus driver is skilled, but drives way too fast for my comfort. There is no air conditioning on the bus - but you're not on it for very long.

Our party of 4 made reservations online and over the phone. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking. We were very pleased with the facilities at base station. Check-in was quick and easy. There was a changing area to put on our river gear. A brief orientation at the amphitheater prepared us for emergency procedures. Paddles, helmets and life vests were handed out in an orderly fashion. We went to the river in a clean, well-maintained bus.THE RIVER WAS BEAUTIFUL! We put in just below a dam. Our guide Benji, was very friendly, knowledgeable, supportive....and as we found out on the river, SKILLED. He navigated us through all the incredible water features of the river. He even pulled one of us back in the boat after falling out in a tricky spot without losing our momentum. I'm still amazed. It was so much fun!I can't stop thinking about the high quality operation that High Country Adventures runs here. I was very satisfied with every aspect of our experience. I would highly recommend them.

This company is fantastic! 6 of us did the Combo - Upper and Middle Ocoee. Nick was our guide and we had a great ride - lots of thrills but nothing a first timer couldn't handle. And he was very entertaining and informative while we did some floating :) Lunch break was great - food was abundant and fresh. A wonderful weekend trip! There will be a repeat trip in our future!

We had a great day with HCA on the Ocoee! Opted for the combo adventure - rafting both the upper and middle Ocoee. It was a nice cadence of smooth rafting and wild rapids. We stopped for lunch half way through. I didn't expect much and was totally surprised - lunch was great! Our guide Tex made it a fun day and even tricked us into dumping our boat. Don't trust that guy! Kidding - the water was nice and refreshing!

This was my first time going white water rafting, I had an amazing time. KC was our guide he was the absolute best. He made me feel extremely comfortable and assured me that he would take good care of us on the raft. I would definitely recommend you ask for KC he TOTALLY ROCKS!!! And also remember tip your guides they are awesome!!!

High Country Rafting is a MUST GO! This was a great experience between 5 of my friends and I. This was my first time rafting and I had an amazing time! Thanks to our guide Nate Love! Best guide there is! He made our experience amazing. We couldn't ask for a better guide! Thanks High country. We will surely be back for the Upper Ocoee Rafting!!

We have used this company many times before. We always do the upper and middle sections of the Ocoee because we drive in from Atlanta - a 2.5 hour trip each way. Safety talk informative. Guides are awesome. We had Brandon this weekend and he was great! It is about 1.5 hours from the time the trip is scheduled for and the actual time you get on the river. ONLY negative is the "catered" lunch - yecch...A few suggestions : 1.wear a swim suit and quick dry shorts or shirt. 2.If you are wearing eyeglasses or sunglasses, use a secure eyeglass retainer or you WILL sacrifice them to the river gods. 3. Wear appropriate water shoes/sneakers that will not fall off. There are always lost "soles" , usually flip flops, floating down the river. 4.Apply lots of sunscreen before you get on bus. 5.Bring a light sandwich, granola bars,etc. to munch on before you get on bus. 6.A teenager got motion sick from the bus ride along the curvy road on the way to the put in point. If you get motion sick, try a benedryl before the trip starts. 7. Bring dry clothing to change into after the trip. You can change in the restroom area and even take a quick shower. 8. Tip your guides! You wouldn't think about NOT tipping a waiter that brings your food. The guides make sure you have a safe and fun adventure!

This was not our first time going rafting with this company. We went rafting with Guide Danny!! He was alot of fun. We did alot of tricks while out on the water!! Will def. be back again! We also rented a cabin for the night. Very clean and priced reasonable (Prices depend on time of year). Everyone had a lot of fun!!

Great experience rafting the Middle Ocoee River today! Excellent gear, service, river run and rapids. Our guide, Bo, was outstanding. He has about 20 years experience on the river, very knowledgable, and a great way with his guests. Ask for Bo when you book your trip!

We got a great deal on this trip. We got a discount sit email and called and they gave us the price over the phone. Our river guide was Jordan and she was fun. The teens had fun as well as the parents. The river was fun and refreshing. It was exciting but not death defying.
