Played this week and the course was in very good condition. The fairways and greens were great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Finding a really good rate makes the day even better. We will definitely play here again.
The course did suffer some from the winter, but we enjoyed playing it. I would definitely go back again. Had a great round on the front 9, not some much on the back, but that's the story of my game. Played with another twosome and enjoyed their company. The desk workers and marshalls were very nice and helpful. The smell from the water treatment plant was a little strong on one hole. The word is that the city is thinking about buying it and turning it into a 9 hole course. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen.
We golfed for several days in a row, the fairways and most of the Tee boxes are in really bad shape, we were told due to flooding and a bad winter. So maybe coming another time of year would be better. There are a lots of sands traps making it even more difficult to play. There are some areas golfer who cannot carry very far will be stuck trying to hit over areas without drop zones on the other side. It was hot and humid but that is expected. There are so many places to Golf not sure if I would recommend this. For ladies, not many choices in the pro shop if you are into clothes. Not many washrooms options on the course unless you do not mind ports potties.
Played King's Creek yesterday with a buddy of mine and what a disappointment...the fairways we dead....when you tee shot hit the fairway you would see a cloud of dust....will not be back at any price...looks like this place is running low on cash flow....surprised Palmer allows his name to be used with this course.
This course has everything you want in a public golf course. Generally, you have room for driving the ball but access to the greens can be difficult due to bunkering and creeks that come into play. This Arnold Palmer design will test average and better players. It is important that you select the proper teebox. The course has 6 par 3's. If you take away two of them and added the additional 400 yards to the actual yardage, that 5,665 yds from the white tees will present itself as a little over 6,000 yds. That will make it much more playable that trying to jump the blue tees. Those blue tees will stretch the game for the average golfer. If you like a good test of golf - try this one out.
This was a better than average golf course. We played on a Friday morning so there was not many people playing early on. There were 5 sets of tees. We felt that there was a lot of water hazards that came in to play and the course itself was fairly tight, narrow fairways. The first cut of rough was about ankle deep so any balls hit in to it were difficult to find. You had to almost be on top of the ball to see it as the balls seemed to settle to the bottom in the rough. Fairways were not too close to each other so wasn't any real concerns about balls coming in from other players in other fairways. I would not go out of my way to play this course again but also I would not avoid it either. I have too many other courses I want to try that I have yet to play before replaying this one.
Had a chance to get a round of golf in and found this course to be the most affordable within the Willliamson County area. It is off the beaten path in Spring HIll area. The course has a nice layout and the crowds were not heavy for a late afternoon.
This is a great course to play. It's both fun and challenging. It's really beautiful too! You will enjoy it if you go.
This golf course is challenging but the cost does not warrant a return for me. I have found other gc in the area to be less expensive and more fun.
What can I say - Nice course, somewhat challenging, rolling, with well positioned traps. The people working there are always nice and it is not that sought after so getting a time is relatively easy. Driving range could be larger, but then I could say that about a lot of courses.Practice putting greens are nice but need more roll.Overall it is just another golf course...it takes a lot to impress me when talking about a Tennessee course. I have issues with the Legends course so that should tell you something. If you are in to trying new courses then certainly point your car in this direction. It will not disappoint, but you may pocket the 18th and think you missed something when you are walking back to the clubhouse.
良いコースですが、行った時は水害の影響でバンカーが修理中でした。修理が完了すれば楽しめると思います。ただやたらとバンカーが多いです。
