I use to work for the city of Knoxville & was on duty here during the building of the Hall of Fame, a great place to learn about the great women of the sport.

The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame is a wonderful museum that showcases the progresssion and the history of women in basketball. The tour is self guided and starts with a short film. The museum was educational as well as inspirational. The displays include the uniforms from the early days. I loved the interactive area with the basketball goals. Overall, I enjoyed the visit to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and I thought...We've Come a Long Way Baby!

Especially for women sports enthusiasts, this is a must do. I will say it was enlightening and enjoyable for a short visit and definitely worth a drop in when you have the time. Also, it was inspirational and well planned for optimizing your tour. I will highly recommend this attraction to friends I know (through business) that are participants in women's adult basketball intramural teams. Go Knoxville for highlighting the history of this sports venue!

A great place for women's basketball fans and sports fans in general. There is a short movie to kick off your self-guided tour that shows the history of the women's game... however, during our showing, the picture went dead during the last 10-15 minutes. Most of the people in the theater were satisfied to just leave and start looking around, and we did the same. A lot of cool historical artifacts, many interactive exhibits and everything is well-presented. There are basketballs, hoops and passing/dribbling challenges on the bottom floor for you to show off your skills... there's even a small toy hoop for younger visitors. As a fan of women's hoops and basketball in general, and my wife being a former college basketball player, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame was a must-see during our stay in Knoxville. The nice thing is that, at least when we visited, there weren't many people there. Parking was a breeze (and free) and we had ample time to check out all the displays and exhibits without feeling rushed by people around us.

Start with a short history film on women's basketball then self guided tour. Very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about each of the inductees. Did. To partake in the interactive activities on the first floor, but most would enjoy that also. $5.50 Senior admission.

I had my daughter's 14th birthday party here years ago. I decided to visit again. This place was amazing. They have kept their items up to date and their historical presentations are accurate and interesting. Great place for the entire family to visit. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Convenient hours; low admission rates.

It was very interactive. I went with my Nana and her three sisters who all played basketball growing up. They had attractions for all ages.

This is a great tribute to the women of Basketball. It was a pleasure to see all the greats honored in such a classy museum.

Great place for kids, especially girl bball players. Explains history of the girls game plus you get to shoot hoops at the end.

My daughter played basketball and really wanted to see the museum. I was luke warm about it, but the hosts were friendly, the history and exhibits were really interesting, and we got to play some basketball too, just like old times.

Easy to find, easy and free parking. The museum has a good mix of presentations -- videos, still photos, uniforms, etc. Love that they have the All American Redheads car!

We went through the museum on 7/26/14. We arrived early in the morning and at the time we were there, we were the only ones going on the tour. It was nice because it was quiet and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each part of the tour. The part of the tour where we were able to shoot baskets was fun. My favorite part of the tour was the locker room where we were able to sit down and watch different coaches giving a locker room speech to their teams. My only disappointment to the Hall of Fame was the store. They had only a few t-shirts available in my size (medium). A better selection of shirts would have been nice.

Upon entering the building you see a beautiful sculpture of the past the present and the future of women's basketball. The museum is well laid out and was very informative.

It is a nice place, especially for the women's basketball fan. There is a 17 minutes video and various displays of women's basketball history including pro and college. There is quite of lot of history too. Old uniforms, pictures, how the rules have changed and the players! The lower floor has a few basketball hoops and balls. It was nice to shoot a little. There is a nice display of the women who have been inducted into the hall of fame. Depending on your pace and interest, it will take about 1.5 hours to tour. There is a nice souvenir shop with T-shirts and stuff. There is a fee which was less than $10 for an adult. With the Giant basketball on the building, it is easy to spot. Parking was easy and free.
