Not only is this the best school, they also have the greatest football team. Pride of The Southland...GO VOLS!!!
AL vs TN game at Neyland Stadium. What a perfect weekend....great rivalry, weather, and riverfront location. Tennessee River is such a beautiful asset to the campus and the city. Vol fans and local businesses showed true southern hospitality.
The U of TN Aquatic Center is a great pool for Conference Swimming and Diving Competitions. The pool appears to be only a few years old with well designed competition and practice areas and great diving area. The stands have stadium chairs in the lower rows.
We stopped by The University of Tennesee campus on our way to a resort in Dandrige. The campus was beautiful as it was in the spring. Football season was over so the campus was calm and quiet. The campus was near World's Fair Park which is nice for the students. I enjoyed the campus visit, butit was a typical college campus.
Love the atmosphere, love the history and the "Hill", a beautiful university. Along side the Tennessee River, beautiful area, restaurants, bar and grills from local owners who invest in the area.
There's nothing like football at Neyland Stadium or bar hopping on the UT strip. Visiting team's fans are treated like honored guests (except maybe LSU). Pretty darn good professional MBA program, too.
Looking to go to a great game. The energy is fantastic. Very fun and exciting. I went to this college so am a big fan. Go VOLS!Neyland stadium is the 4th largest stadium in the nation. SEC is by far the best college football in the nation.
Lots of activities to go to at UT. The football games are an experience - try tailgating in the big area where they have vendors (and also ESPN when they are in town). Went to a basketball game last night and the arena is big, well laid out, and exciting. For plays there is the Clarence Brown Theater. Truly there are lots of events for locals to enjoy.
The people at UT are always so nice and helpful. We spend quite a bit of time at the Aquatic Center, and the UT coaches and staff are great!
We went to the UT/UK game on 11/15/14. We sat in the student section (thanks to my daughter..class of 2015!). The sheer size of the stadium and all it's history is impressive, and add 100000+ fans...wow it was fun. The view from our seats was awesome! And the campus itself is very nice too. Just be prepared to do alot of walking..and it's quite hilly too.
It's finals week so didn't see a lot of students. The campus was mostly buildings and roads where we were. There are probably open fields someplace. We are Penn state so use to more openness and a town immediately around school. The world fair grounds is not far from the campus and not sure if a lot of students use it.
Great for games, great campus and friendly people. We love coming to me area. There's always something new to see.
We love going to the tennessee games! We have a blast and they will get you pumped up! GOOO BIG ORANGE!
Our first visit to a U of T football game at Neyland Stadium, wasn't sure where to park and found ParkWhiz online. BEST decision we made for a sold-out game day!! Within a 15 minute walk to the stadium, exceptional parking attendants with a lot of tips and hints on navigating with 102,000 fans in attendance. Fun stadium to visit, great fans!
Its a beautiful campus, UT Medial Center has all the medical departments and pharmacy college in walking distance. We drove from Huntsville, AL as my daughter had to attend an interview for the admission in Pharmacy college. Visited campus, medical center buildings, pharmacy college tour.GREAT place to choose if your student attending a 4 year medical or pharmacy degree here. Lots of convenience as all the departments and building are at walking distance, save lot of time and money.
