The boulders are set up with safety in mind and ease of exploring for beginners to more experienced climbers just looking for some easy fun practice.

Plenty of climbing rocks and a mini ropes course for the kids. Right next to the river in scenic Buena Vista just south of down town in the new "South Main" development. Just follow the cobble stone road!

What a fun way to spend about 30 minutes horsing around at the Boulder park. On the way we saw a recently opened skate park too for kids to play on. The only complain is that you really cannot drive up to it. There is exactly 1 spot on an empty corner lot to park and that's it. You have to find parking elsewhere and walk into it.

Put a large bunch of rocks together and the kids will come and climbing, sit and jump off of them. It can get very busy on the boulders while people are waiting at the Eddy Line Resturant gives the kids something to do while they wait and even after

My husband and 3-year old son checked this out while passing through Buena Vista. It's fun, but I wouldn't recommend making a major detour for it.
