Did the aerial park and it was a blast. Staff was excellent and helpful. Would definitely recommend this to families.
Thanks so much for your positive review! We LOVE that you had so much fun on the course. You’re right—there’s a tightrope to walk when it comes to thrill, and your experience is exactly what we’re shooting for with that balance. We’re delighted our park was challenging enough for your whole party without pushing anyone too far. That’s exactly what it was designed to do! And we love our staff, too—thanks for recognizing their hard work. We can make sure that Megan, Haley, and Joselle (I bet that’s the name you were looking for) get to read your delightful post. Thanks again and we hope to see you soon!
Great Ariel assault course - good for all ages - we had 10-60 yrs - some things are harder than others. You are fastened on at all times so it is safe. After the ropes courses you do the leap of faith - climb up a wobbly telegraph pole and the leap for a trapease bar out of reach - safety rope attached in case you miss. You finish up on the huge swing at the end - fear inducing and maybe need to,load up on dramanie before you go on it - causes lots of screams.Overall awesome place and worth a visit - if you can brave the cold water you can also do rafting at the same spot.
my 3 kids (ages 17, 14, 10 boys) had the best time at browns canyon adventure park! they loved it. challenging, physically exerting, but they were good at it and enjoyed it immensely. all the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable (wish i could remember names to commend them) and Josh the photographer was great...good deal on lots of amazing photos! were there in the morning july 2, 2014
My family visited the adventure park while staying near Alpine Lake outside of Buena Vista. There were two families and I was volunteered to take 4 children ranging in age from 8-11. The kids had a great time in the 2.5 hours we spent on the course and I did as well. The course can be challenging or relatively simple depending upon what you desire. The safety systems used made me feel very comfortable letting the two 8 year old children go off by themselves on the course. The shorter kids did have some trouble moving from one cable to another by themselves, but the employees who are out on the course with you very quickly move to help them out. The giant swing and Leap of Faith became highlights at the end of a great morning.
I have been to a number of adventure courses all over the country, but Browns Canyon is at the top of the list in terms of safety and variety of obstacles. You can truly choose to challenge yourself as little or as much as you would like! I have always been so impressed with the staff at Noah's Ark Rafting, and the staff at Browns Canyon was just as impressive. My siblings and I had such a great afternoon on the course with our guide, Molly! If you're near Buena Vista, make sure to stop by this awesome adventure park!
The Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area staff participated in a team building half day adventure park. The course (s) were suitable for various individual skill abilities. After a half day of good comradery between staff, we all had a fun and challenging time together.I would recommend this activity to all ages.Thank you Browns Canyon Adventure Park!John Kreski, AHRA Agreement Coordinator
Autry, Kevin and Giselle and the rest of the staff at Noah's Ark are amazing, experienced, encouraging, professional, and so personable. This is a must do place to stop and play, not just for fearless youth, but for scare-dy cats like me. The elements were challenging yet so fun. Plan to stay for at least a couple hours so you can be sure to try out all the upper and lower elements and don't miss the swing!
Wonderful staff, high adventure course with many options and elements. Beautiful setting in a great town
What an amazing place filled with great people. The whole staff at the BCAP and Noah's Ark are top notch. Great for large groups and families. I have taken groups here for the last three Summers and every time I visit I am more impressed with the compassion and professionalism of the whole staff.
My kids and I had an amazing morning on the ropes course! The staff was so friendly, knowledgable and very helpful on the course! My son zipped through the elements while my daughter and I moved slowly through the course at out own pace. It was early in the summer and we had the whole course to ourselves! The kids loved the swing and we were able to swing several times in a row! The views from the course are amazing too. We really liked that there were many levels, so it suited all of our abilities. My daughter and I especially liked the course where you work as a team to complete the obstacles. We will definitely be back next time we are in Buena Vista! Thank you to the staff for an amazing experience!
This is the best ropes course and adventure park I have ever done! We brought a group of 54 high school students, and there was something for all of them. The leaders loved it too! This place is so much better than any other ropes course. The staff is super great! We will defiantly bring our group here next year.
Our extended family visits Colorado every year, and this past year we decided to give zip lining a try. Our group of 19 with ages ranging from 7 to 57 all had a blast and we plan on returning every year
This place was awesome! It is a great set up with elements that almost anyone can enjoy as well as challenging elements for the more athletic and adventurous.
We had our 11 year old's birthday party here, and everyone had a blast! There were guides helping all of the kids "learn the ropes", and parents and kids were able to challenge themselves at their own levels but always within eyesight of each other. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and very conscious of teaching safety. The views are spectacular and it's something new and fun to do in the area.
