I own two sets of jewelry from here, which are both absolute favorites and I constantly get complimented on! Everything in this store is awesome, it's easy to see why Johnny Depp scheduled a private midnight shopping spree here (ask the owner about the story!). I also bought an adorable clock here that is one-of-a-kind. Another reviewer mentioned the fossil sinks - they are so cool! Prohibitively expensive, but way cool! It's probably a good thing that I have to drive 6 hours to get to this gallery!

The Rare Things Gallery is on Main Street of Creede in the Creede Elk's building. Jennie Inge, the owner, makes really beautiful horse hair jewelery. She also has many other products that are very nice, be sure to stop by when you visit or vacation in Creede.

I think there are actually two shops, that have slightly different names right next to each other. The Rare Things Gallery had the large carved sinks with ammonites that someone else mentioned in another review. They also had lots of nice gems and minerals, and we bought some excellent samples. They also have art pieces. Next door (on the North side) is more of a jewelry shop and we bought some very reasonably priced bracelets which will go in our Christmas cabinet for gifts for our daughters and granddaughters. My wife also bought a beautiful bracelet which she chose to wear out of the store, so that one doesn't get held until Christmas before she gets it!! I highly recommend both stores. If someone goes and can add the specific names of both stores, that would be nice. We went to every store in Creede and these two are well worth your time. Of course, if you are a woman and reading this and you were going to Creede, you had already decided to go to these stores. If you're the husband, you might be prepared with your credit card. Just the facts!!!

I was drawn into the store by the sink in the window which has ammonite fossils surrounding it. Although they were out of my price range I bought a small heart shaped soap dish with ammonite in it. Great shop to browse for rare things.

I could decorate my entire house with things from this gallery. We wondered around for at least an hour looking at everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will go back every time I visit Creede.

Awesome shop right next to San Juan Sports in downtown Creede. Lots of Rocks and minerals for sale including many native to Colorado and silver from Creede. Agate and Geos. Fossils and antlers and many neat trinkets and keepsakes. Super friendly staff in a super friendly town!
