freedom park

We take our husky to Freedom Park almost every day. Even if you don't have a dog, it is a great place to walk around and enjoy.

They have a shallow little beach setting for the dogs to enter, and a grassy area for you to set up some chairs if you want, but no shade so be prepared.Right now, July 16, 2014, there has been a warning sent out about dogs getting sick there, cause still undetermined, so I would check first before going.

Very nice facility, great parking and nice restrooms.It has easy access from I-70 to the park and to Vail, Beavercreek .

Son gave skate park good marks on our vacation near Edwards. Have to watch for the kids on bikes and scooters, though, who also run through ramps and bowls. Noticed a number of parents not focused on watching their kids so skateboarders need to be extra vigilant of run-away kids! Nice spot for kids to burn off some energy!

A lovely dedication to both 9/11 and local fallen heroes. An actual rock slab piece of the Pentagon is displayed (and illuminated at night). The park provides an easy paved sidewalk around a dog friendly man made pond as well as easy access and parking from Interstate 70 by car.

Great in-ground skate park. Pond for dogs to swim in and paths for biking & walking.Playground has water feature to play in & nice rides for little toddlers and older kids too. Athletic fields are used for soccer games. There are also some interesting geo-caches nearby.

This is a wonderful park for all ages. Lots to do, shade, skate, bike, and a splash pad (doesn't run on Mondays). Dogs welcome too. We go here often, and there are always other kids for my 3.5 yr old to play with. Clean restrooms, but bring your own snacks.

dogs, skate park, soccer. No music and need more benches for people to just sit and relax. Would also be helpful if they had a stand for water or snacks during the summer

Getting off the interstate for a break? Take the round-a-bout to Miller Ranch Rd instead of the truck rest area. There's a dog park on the east side of the pond, a playground for the kids, restrooms and in the summer a water fountain play feature, skateboard park and picnic area. If you want to stop for more than just a potty break, this is the spot.

Spent the weekend here for a Lacrosse Tournament. Great fields. Clean facilities and good parking. Not too far from restaurants. Kids enjoy this park.

Its a great park for all ages, great location.Skate park, water games in the summer, you can spend a great amount of time there. And great for birthdays too.

My kids are 11 & 9....they have found at least an hours worth of entertainment here. There's a skate park here too. This park is pretty upscale compared to the ones we're used to.

Lots of Different play areas for each age. Great spot with so many choices. Kids love it. Ample parking.

I take my dog running here all of the time. It is very convenient to walk here from Miller Ranch. I love the small lake for the pups to swim in the summertime. There is a nice looking children's playground and a skate park for the groms as well. Great views, big fields for games and events. It's so nice to have this place in Edwards!

This is a great place to run your kids. Free attraction. Off leash dog park near by but dogs are not allowed at the park. Freedom park is located in Edwards, near the Riverwalk Shopping area. A concrete skate park offers rails and bowls to ride on. Bring a picnic and go for a stroll down the path and under highway 6 towards the Eagle River. Parks for the kids with spectacular views.
