其实公园没有特别漂亮,但作为公共公园来说,就还不错。很多人在那休息溜狗的,然后旁边都是被山围着,就是自己像是身处在峡谷地下一样过瘾。
Great park to visit if you live here. It has a jungle gym, walking trails, basketball court, fields, and a pond. Probably not worth going out of your way for if you are a tourist.
I like walking around this park. They have great walking paths. They have nice playgrounds for the kids and lots of sports fields for Soccer, football and baseball. Can be busy on weekends with team sports but overall a great place to excercise and have fun for free!
From the dog park, to the ball fields, to two large pavilions and a very nice playground, this park has something for everyone. My favorite event is the September car show. Best around!
Plenty of room for family events, to watch your kids play soccer or to exercise your dogs. Parking is a problem as there is not enough of it to go around on big game days. Plan ahead and get there early or better yet, drop everyone off and park somewhere else. Otherwise, a wonderful, family themed park.
The park is huge! There is something for everyone. Runners, dog owners, walkers, frisbee players, soccer, etc. Sometimes it gets busy during the weekend with ball games going on, but it is big enough that it usually does not feel crowded.
Huge park, lots to do, clean, safe and fun. Ball fields, playground, picnic area, walking trails, dog water park, volleyball and everything you can think of.
My main reason for going here was the dog park but the park is quite attractive and pleasant and demonstrates how a park can meet the needs of all it's citizens and not just children. . It is large enough to encompass several activities including soccer, baseball, a kids play area, paved walking trails for humans and dogs and a couple of dog parks divided by size. One of the dog parks has a pond accessible to the dogs and it makes for a muddy romp but there are shade trees and pavilions and the dogs enjoyed it. If you don't want them drinking pond water, take your own water. The entrance to the larger dog park is not well thought out with super side gates making it fairly easy to dogs to escape the park if someone is entering or leaving. All in all though we had a pleasant hour there.
I discovered this park while I was geocaching. The pond is a beautiful focal point for paved walking trails and picnic areas. The neighborhood around the park was peaceful and quiet during our visit. There was walking trail traffic, but it is very light in the late afternoon.I did not notice any children's playground equipment, but I was not able to see the whole park.
What a beautiful park. Includes dog parks, soccer grounds, baseball fields, walking path, duck ponds, basketball and tennis courts. Really nice facilities for gatherings and views of the Mesa, the Bookcliffs and the National Monument. The dog parks looked to need some grooming but otherwise great clean facility.
The main park is beautiful, but the dog park needs serious attention. More water for trees and grass, both of which are dying in areas.
The park in general is excellent, and it is a huge park. My problem was with the dog park, which could also be a very great attraction. My medium sized Blue Healer was attacked by a pit bull near the inner gate, and injured, requiring expensive veterinary care. The owner of the pit bull was no where near, in fact, he was about 100 yards away. Several people had to beat and kick the pit bull off my dog, all of us screaming and shouting. Some of the people there told me that was not the first time his pit bull attacked another dog without warning; again the owner was no where near when his dog attacked. I was told that in that other attack the pit bull also injured the owner of the injured dog. They said the pit bull owner got away with it in court because of a technical mistake. So, my dog got attacked: how many other dogs will be attacked by this pit bull. Another thing about the dog park that bothers me that the city let over 20 trees die from lack of watering them, and quite a bit of the grass die from a lack of watering all areas at night. How much tax money did those trees, some 20 feet high, cost to buy and to plant. The city seems to take much better care of all the other park areas and all the other parks, than they do of the dog park.
Larger park with soccer field and baseball diamond. Also with a number of areas for gatherings and large green area people (epically kids) and a dog park .
This huge park has everything: baseball fields, soccer fields, several ponds (one huge), a roller skating court & even German gatherings and a historic Basque handball court. What I like and use the most is the large dog park, divided into 3 sections, all with double gates and 6 ft.+ fences. There is a section for small dogs. There are two large sections with pleanty of running room each and a pond on one of them for larger dogs: so there is lots of swimming and free running for all medium to large dogs. Just make sure that your dog is up to date on its vaccinations and has heartworm protection.
Beautiful park.We were looking for a place for our dogs to run. They have a great dog park there. NICE Park. It's hugh and GREEN. Lots to do there.
