Although the comedy is good, we were seated too close for comfort at this venue. There isn't enough space to comfortably squeeze in all the people they do. Our table was located in the middle of a couple of other couples who were already seated and there wasn't enough room for us to sit down. My husband had to sit sideways or in his neighbors lap. Also, after just eating dinner at Lucy's (for the premium seating), I did not like being forced to order two more items per person.

Nice venue, food is good upstairs plus you get priority seating. The comics we saw were very funny I was very pleased with the experience.

Easy to get to; top notch comedians and the show went off seamlessly.Impressed with the wait staff that didn't interrupt the show but got their job done well.

I LOVED the show - saw three great acts in one night, and had some serious belly laughs. The venue, however was a major disappointment.- 2 item minimum = at least $12 plus tax and tip on $5 worth of mediocre food served on disposable plates with flimsy utensils- uncomfortable, cramped seating.Having said that, the staff working the door are pleasant, fun and professional, and the waitstaff work REALLY hard to bring out that sorry food.In sum, great people, (likely) a great show, but an otherwise lousy place that one leaves feeling at least a little ripped off. Be prepared to add at least $15 to each ticket price through the minimum charge, anticipate a crummy seat, and you'll be fine.

The antiquated system of stand in line for hours and then watch "VIP" groups go in front of you has got to be changed in both locations! For this most recent visits, I got tickets in early December to see Frank Caliendo and he was great don't get me wrong but it is just such a gamble where you will be seated that I normally avoid the Comedy Works. Last time we got in line early and was seated in the back and this time we got there late (literally 15 minutes until show time) and ended up seated in the second row. We were very lucky but I felt bad for folks behind us that got there earlier with worse seating. They also give preferred seating to patrons that eat at the Lucy's ahead of time. It makes no sense and I would rather pay to see a comedian at a place where seating is assigned so that I know what to expect when I get the tickets.

This is a typical comedy club layout with a bar in front and uninterest hosts who seat you in tightly packed, uncomfortable chairs around the stage with curved landings. Be prepared to feel claustrophobic throughout the show. Most seats offered a good view of the comedy acts.My son took me here as a birthday gift and it was a lot of laughs and fun insights with Tom Papa, who is great in any setting. I was glad he wanted to perform here. There were entrees and desserts available from the Lucy's Restaurant above to eat in the Comedy Works, with a decent selection of food, not just wings and fries.I like the ambiance of the downtown Denver Comedy Club better, but this venue was closer to home and easier parking in the surrounding Landmark Place parking lots.

One's experience with a comedy show depends on how relatable the comedian is to the guest. On the night we attended, the headliner wasn't relatable to most of our group but the "warm up acts" were. So, look at who will be on stage before purchasing tickets and you will enjoy the experience a whole lot more. The service/wait staff here hustles to serve guests and did a great job. Really enjoyed the MC of the night...

We booked the Comedy Works for my husband and his best friend's 40th birthday party and it was a BLAST! We worked with Susan Collyar, who was super amazing! She really took care of us and ensured everyone had a great time. We laughed the entire night and everyone said it was one of the best birthday parties they've ever been to. i definitely recommend checking this place out - wither with your significant other, with friends, or to celebrate a special occasion.

This was our first time to Comedy Works. Ralphie May was hilarious and we laughed so hard it hurt. We really enjoyed the show. Thank you Ralphie May, Comedy Works and Lucy's restaurant for making my wife's birthday an awesome night.

Entertainment was good! But the service and the customer experience sucked! You wait hours in line and you sit in the back? Didn't get any service during the show? Must be nice to act like this at both clubs! Come on MAN!

Love Comedy Works South! They have top headliners, excellent service, well-mixed drinks and very good food (eat at Lucy's upstairs and you get VIP seating for the shows). Tiered seating means you can easily see the show. Nice bar. A gem of comedy clubs. Its location in Greenwood Village means there are no parking problems.

Great place to see a show. Lucy's has very good food. If you book a reservation at Lucy's & have tickets to the show, you do not have to worry about seats! They will make sure you are up close & personal! We saw John Oliver & countless local headliners! No worries about parking and safety!

We make the trip to Comedy Works several times a year. This time we saw Bob Saget. We always make reservations at Lucy's, prior to the show. If you dine there, you get to sit in the first six rows for the show. Although it always seems like it is a tight squeeze in the show room, the comedians are top notch and the service is good, too.
