We went on a half day trip last year and had the bestest time ever. It was Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt, daughter, and lastly grand daughter. The family felt safe for the whole trirp. After the trip, we all loved those huge cinnamon rolls upstairs. We are taking the whole day trip this coming summer.

Awesome experience for first time rafters!! the guides are excellent (as long as you can follow simple directions and commands). we had 2 adults and 3 kids with us (12, 11, 9) and they were great at rafting!! we had George and he was awesome with the kids!! we did the level 3's and they were just fine with it. I liked it so much and want to go back and do a level 4 or even 5 (maybe lol). either way I definitely want to do it again. the price was only $50 per person and about a 2 hour ride. the only downside is you have to help lift the boats in and out of the water and down a small rocky hill and they are HEAVY!!! if you have plenty of guys then they can do it :-) great experience!!! definitely buy the picture/video package as well. video captures all rafters but pics are just of your group and look great!!

Our family had a blast on the trip. I actually just picked the company because it was the closest to where we were staying in Colorado. The staff was pleasant and friendly from beginning to end. (even over the phone when booking the reservation!) The guides were fun and informative and very safety conscious, but not in a bossy way. We purchased the photo/video package and were impressed with the quality, and we can relive our trip whenever we want. We would definitely use this company again the next time we are traveling in the Denver area. Another bonus to the location is that it is right out of Fort Collins. Great place to explore or have lunch before, which is what we did at the F.C. Brewery.

The information provided, safety tips given everything is worth the time. You raft with them and i bet you will not have a complaint. The efforts their team put forward for the photos and videos of rafting are commendable. The price for the photos and videos they provide too is way too less than what is called reasonable.

It was a quite fascinating experience. We were 7 people in our team and except myself most of us didn't have prior experience of rafting. We did the 'Taste of the White Water' and we enjoyed every moment of it. Although I did rafting once before this but this time it was lot of fun and excitement. Our raft guide Carly was awesome. She was really friendly and she guided us through out the trip really well. I hope to do the 'Blast of the Whitewater' next time. I recommend everyone for a rafting trip at AWA.Tomojit

Our group of 6 scheduled a rafting trip while we were in Estes Park. When we got there, we were greeted warmly and immediately given the lunch we ordered. When it was time to get ready to board the bus, one of the guides by the name of Tyler had an unusual visor with dogs on it that one of our group noticed. She told Tyler how awesome she thought the visor was and, although the others gave Tyler a hard time about his visor, our group made an immediate connection with Tyler. When it was time for the "Guide lottery" we immediately asked for Tyler and we got our wish! Tyler was absolutely phenomenal!!! He was very knowledgeable and very encouraging as we took our trip down the river. He absolutely made our trek the unbelievably amazing experience it was!!!! We had discussed the monetary tip we would give before the trip.....my husband doubled it because Tyler was just that awesome!!!! When we're back in Estes Park, we will definitely do this again and most certainly request Tyler! He's awesome!

My 15 year old son and I had only rafted once before in North Carolina on a mostly Class I/II river. We were vacationing in Colorado for the first time, and were looking for a rafting adventure with more excitement than what we had experienced in N.C., and Megan suggested the Blast for us. Wow was she correct! She was so friendly and helpful answering all of our questions on the phone. Although this appeared like a smaller outfitter compared to the one we used in N.C., everyone there was very professional and competent. Our guide was Lucas, and he was extremely friendly, capable, and highly seasoned. I think he would know the river blindfolded! He was great at giving instruction and preparing us for the big Class IV rapids before we got to them. A fantastic guide who clearly loves what he does! The trip was everything we had hoped for and then some. Beautiful scenery, great information about the river, very professional with good equipment. The van also followed us along the river and took excellent pictures and even a short video of us going over one of the rapids. This is a Class III/IV river and the Class IV rapids can toss you around a bit. Minimum age varies depending on water level. When we were there it was 14 minimum. I had not heard of the Poudre River before this trip, but I would highly recommend it and the WanderLust Adventure outfitter.

A group of us went camping and made this our trip into town. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide that we had in our raft was upbeat and expressed the concerns of difficult rapid areas without being overly confident or trying to scare the kids. They allowed us to jump into the river at a certain point and swim downstream. Overall a great camping trip that was made better by A Wanderlust Adventure rafting trip. (A Wonderlust Adventure had nothing to do with the camping trip.)

We had a great time! The rapids were never ending and exciting! Our guide, Dan, was awesome and so skilled at directing us along the way and was also good at putting our raft exactly where he wanted it to be! Can't wait til our next trip!

It was the first time rafting for almost everyone in our group. We had just spent a week at Ben Delatour Scout Ranch about 40 miles north and on our free day planned a rafting trip. The guides were great. Knowledgeable, Competent and Entertaining. They provided the right balance of thrills and safety. We did the beginners run but it was still fun. They did have one raft flip and all of the guides worked together very well to make sure that everyone was safe. They took great pictures and video of the trip and sent it by dropbox link so we could share with everyone in our group.

This was our first time rafting and with two teenagers I was a worried if we would be able to do it safely and without falling in. Especially given this was the Rocky Mountains. I am very pleased to report that the Wanderlust guides expertly knew how blend a little excitement with a whole lot of fun! We really felt like we accomplished something special during our vacation to Colorado this past summer. Thank you Wanderlust for being a part of our trip. We would gladly raft with these guys anytime.-The Leannah's

Our family goes to Poudre Canyon, Colorado several times a year and takes an annual family trip every summer to the Canyon. Last year(2013), we added rafting with Wanderlust to our adventures. What a great team they have at Wanderlust! They make sure that you have an awesome time while keeping you safe during your trip! All the guides are fun and professional but we always book Lucas as our guide. Last week was no different. We had a great time with Lucas and his team and plan to return more summers to come. Book them now! You won't regret!

This is a great trip for beginners and young kids. There were easy rapids that were plentiful during the trip. Of the 6 that went 4 had not been rafting before and 2 had been. Everyone had a great time, but for the two of us that had been before, we found it to be a pretty basic rafting trip. If you are really into rafting, they have another option with more advanced rapids that might better fill your urge for an adrenaline rush. The company was great as I had to call several times about my reservation and every time talked to a friendly staff member. Our guides were terrific, especially Mary who was our guide and the lead on the trip. The price was great too. I initially became interested because I saw a Groupon from another company that floats the same river, but upon further research found Wanderlust which had better reviews and seemed to have just as good of price without the Groupon.

George was an amazing guide and we had the best time of our lives!!! It was soooo much fun. No one fell in and the rapids were a blast. Some of my friends didn't know if they wanted to go but afterwards they can't wait to get back and do it again.

While planning our trip to CO, I was between this and another whitewater rafting company. I have no regrets selecting this one. They were super great while booking the reservation and while enjoying the event. We stayed in Fort Collins so it was only a 25 minute drive. There are changing rooms available and just one bathroom. Before you head out onto the water, a safety video is played which is helpful. They gave us neoprene jackets to wear to keep us warm as it was a little chilly that morning. Then, everyone is boarded onto a big yellow school bus and transported to the water for put in. We booked the Taste trip, so we had to get out of the water after a bit, get bussed again, and then put back into the water so that we would avoid some serious rapids. The rapids for the Taste trip were Class II and III. We were placed in a raft with another family of four plus our guide George. George was absolutely amazing! Truly, he did all the work steering us and keeping us safe. We paddled when instructed to do so which was fun, but mostly we were there to enjoy the ride. You get to choose your guide, so get George if you can! He was super friendly, confident and all around enjoyable. When finished, head over to LaPorte Pizza for lunch. It's just down the road and really great!
