arapahoe greenway trail

After eating a big Family Lunch on October 19, 2013, we decided to take our walks in the Arapahoe Greenway Trail. Walkers consisted of 3 males and 3 females, with ages ranging from 4 years to 70 years old. There are 2 separate paths on the Trail, one for the BIKERS and another one for the WALKERS. The views are spectacular: trees with bright color leaves, several bodies of water along the way, birds flying, bridges, pumpkin farm and of course, Family Conversation during the walk. Periodically, the grand kids got carried on their parents' necks/shoulders when they complained about their tired feet.Snack Bar and Restrooms: We used these facilities to refresh ourselves before proceeding with our walk to downtown Littleton.Downtown Littleton - we browsed around the various shops and purchased some spices at one of the stores. Suggestions - Ask for a volunteer to get the car at the entrance of the Trail after enjoying the refreshments. Kids and other walkers might not have the energy to walk back. Continue your walk of the Trail to the downtown area of Littleton where you can meet the "volunteer" and your transportation to get home.
