You talk about a Beautiful Course.... This has got to bi in the Top 10 of Colorado. With a pretty good "Level of Difficulty", you'll thoroughly enjoy this "outing".The clubhouse could be in the top 5 for views in the State... However....We DON'T suggest staying for lunch/dinner.... Lets just leave it at that.

This course is very scenic, especially on the back nine where the course runs along the Big Thompson river. The course was a little bit wet when we played and there was a hour frost delay but overall, the course was in good shape. My wife had a hole-in-one on the 11th hole, a very pretty downhill hole, first of her golfing career so it was an exciting day!!

Wonderful golf course. Elevation changes are the norm, and a very fun and challenging course for a very reasonable rate! One my faves!!!

What a BEAUTIFUL course!! Not only is this a great golf course for all abilities, the views this course offers are second to none. Challenging but forgiving golf course complete with elevated tees and wide open fairways so you can just grip it and rip it. The staff was extremely friendly. The starters could probably moonlight as a 2 person comedy act. First time playing in Colorado and I don't think I'll play anywhere else each time I visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I have played this course 6-8 times over the past 3 years, and everytime it has been in great condition and at least 4 of those times the elk were grazing all around us. Wow, it doesn't get better than that!

Really enjoy their burgers and onion rings. Choice of beers has gotten greater. Wanted to attend their beer night for the menu, but can not make it.Really great view. On any given night the seating outside is really nice.

You have to play here... nothing else really like it. Uphill, downhill, riverbottom... so many unique and different holes. Very affordable, good service, good food but above all, a different golf experience than most of you have ever enjoyed.

We live next to the golf course and a good reason for that is that we love the beauty of the area and the golf course itself has to be one of the most pristine and highly rated municipal golf courses in the country. Not only does the area provide wonderful views of the Rocky Mountains, it also provides a reasonably challenging course with long fairways and some fun elevated t-boxes.Coupled with this is a very nice pro shop, driving range and a restaurant that serves some unique entrees indigineous to our area as well as delicious standard dishes. All this is at the Marianna Butte which provides an awsome view of the course and mountains. It's not unusual to see plenty of wildlife like elk, deer, fox and on a rare occasion a curious bear, which all leaves golfers with plenty to talk about when they get home.

This restaurant is not on the beaten path and most people wouldn't find it unless going out there to golf, but what a nice place to enjoy the beauty of Colorado. Whether eating inside or out, the views are wonderful. The food is good and the staff quite pleasant. Read a bit about Mariana for whom the butte is named and then go out and eat some good food in a great setting.

Wonderful golf course, with a good restaurant and outstanding views. I'd recommend it to any golfer visiting the area. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the pace of play. It's very popular so plan on a 5 hour round and on weekends even a little longer.

Great course in the foothills of Loveland, CO. Challenging, but not terribly difficult, though a lot of fun to play. Wish I could play this course every week!They have a new restaurant on premises that is doing a better job than the last one, and the pro shop is well stocked.Highly recommended!

Back 9 is much more difficult than the front, seems like a whole new course. Great views, seems like the hills are right on top of you. We always take our out of towners to this course!

Mariana Butte is the one of the most beautiful areas in Loveland, with the 18 hole course right through the middle of it. It is West of town with a country, tranquil feeling but still high class. If you want Mountain views while you golf, go here! Great restaurant at the clubhouse area, called the Wapiti Grille. Be ready to drop some cash though if you wanna golf here, little on the pricey side

Beautiful municipal golf course in Loveland, Co. Elevation changes are challenging on two back nine par threes. Signature hole 16 is a difficult par 5 from blues or black tees. good value for the cost. The food was excellent in the lounge grill.

What fun!! Good course conditions? Check. Great service? Check. Views of the mountains? Big check! This is one of my favorite courses that I have ever played. There are several elevation changes, but not gimmicky at all. Nice wide fairways and big greens (mostly), so it's a fun ride. If you want a mountainish course without the getting penalized too much, then this is the course for you. I will always play this course when I visit the area!
