This brewery has been on my list to visit for sometime! We finally made the visit this past weekend, and were very pleased! We are IPA enthusiasts, but had heard much of their Red Ale, so opted to try both the IPA and Red Ale. Both were exceptional, high quality/flavored beers. Our friends opted for the Stout and were also very pleased with their selection. They have pretzels to snack on (for free), or you can purchase other small trail, salty snacks, bag of chips, et al. Outside of these choices, you can order from Henry's Pub (essentially across the parking lot), and they will deliver their full menu for no charge and will process your order on site, very handy option if you are looking to enjoy the brewery ambience but enjoy Henry's food. A must visit when trying Loveland's breweries. One of our new favorites! The seating area is smaller than some of the other breweries, but very accommodating, cozy atmosphere that doesn't get as loud as some of the others in town, which makes it nice when joining friends, doesn't get overly loud. There is also outside patio seating (if the weather is nice). Love this place!
Awesome little craft brewery. Get the complete flight. Outstanding red ale. They have one of the very few IPA's that I have enjoyed. Bonus: sit out in the production area and annoy the brewers with many questions. :-)
I had the chance to visit Crow Hop on a recent trip to Colorado for a wedding. I first heard about them after they won a gold medal for their red ale at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival. They have a neat little space that is divided into a bar area for tastings or buying pints and a back room where the brewing occurs. They had 7 or 8 of their beers available in either tasters ($2 each) or pints ($5). These included an IPA, a lager, a pale ale, a wheat beer, the red ale, a stout, a brown ale, and a few limited batch brews (red ale on nitro, a mystery dry hop IPA). Everything was quite good and the staff was very friendly. I even got to meet the brewmaster when he stopped in for a pint. Finally, Crow Hop only offers chips and salsa ($6 for an order) or pretzels (free), but they do coordinate with Henry's Pub (next door). The Pub will deliver their food (no delivery charge) to the brewery for you (and it is very good).
