I've been going to Lyons Classic Pinball for years and Carole and Kevin are great owners of this fun arcade where you can play mostly pinball games of all eras, but also some video games. They take care of their games to ensure they play as designed and Kevin is a wealth of information about the history of each game in the arcade. Looking for the most recent game that has been released - they have you covered. Want to play some old electro-mechanicals - they've got them too, and if you like the 70s/80s solid state games you'll find those as well. They also feature the largest pinball game ever made (Hercules) which has a "pinball" the size of a cue ball. One nice feature of this arcade is that the games are frequently rotated in and out so that you can play games you may never see anywhere else. Keeps things "fresh."Kevin, a musician himself, always plays interesting music from multiple eras on his sound system. I often find myself asking who the musical group is that is playing so I can buy it.They can also hold parties via reservations, and they hold a once per month pinball tournament where players can attain World Pinball Player Rankings points. Kevin can also answer questions about any games that may be for sale or where to find parts or repairs. So if you are looking for a cheap way to have lots of fun, visit Lyons Classic Pinball. Known world-wide as a must-see Pinball arcade. There is a "fee" for this attraction, but that amounts to the player needing to insert quarters into a game to start it up. Most games have the original price to play so it wouldn't be unusual to play a classic game for just a quarter.

This is nothing short of a hole-in-the-wall that turns into a wonderful surprise for pinball and arcade enthusiasts alike. Anytime we travel to Lyons we make sure to stop by Classic Pinball to drop a few quarters in for some wholesome fun. Sadly not too many kids get to grow up and appreciate pinball like they did in the 80's because the arcades all shut down and all the video games are on every device known to man. Step back in time and appreciate a real gem of a place in Lyons Classic Pinball.Do keep an eye out for their pinball tournaments that take place on select Thursday nights. There are some real good people watching that can happen on those nights too.

Great place to go and just chill out. Awesome to spend like $10 and remember the "old days". I liked how they had all different eras of pinball machines.

We went to Lyons to do a little hiking and stay in a cabin, but a huge downpour made us change our plans and lead us into playing a little pinball here -- and I'm glad we did!I'll be honest, I'm a pinball noob. But the selection of games was really impressive. There are 3 rooms, all filled with games from the 60s through today. Games ranged from $.25 to $2 each, though it seemed like most of them were 3 balls for $.50. The games were in excellent condition and priced to please. The next time we're in Lyons, we'll absolutely stop in for a few dollars of play.

We spent an hour or so here on a Thursday evening after spending the afternoon in the mountains. My husband enjoyed the pinball machines that he remembered from the 60's, and I was surprised at how much fun our teenagers had even though they've been raised on computerized games. It's not a huge place, but it's literally packed wall to wall with machines. It wasn't very busy when we were there so we had the chance to play whatever games we wanted.

Lots and lots of classic machines from the 1950s to the 1990s. Prices are reasonable, especially considering what it must take to buy and keep up these machines. Pleasant environment and a nice owner. Great place to take a bunch of kids in the 8-12 age range. Keep it going, fellas!

It seems hard to find an arcade that specifically caters to those who love pinball, but this is IT! There's like 50 pinball machines from 5 decades, both modern and antique and you can play them all. I take a trip here maybe once a year and then go to Oskar Blues which is a block over for grilling and live Blues.

We were passing through Lyons and checked Tripadvisor for interesting places. Lyons Classic Pinball was at the top of the list. My wife and I and another couple played the games for over an hour. It was great to see and play machines that we hadn't seen in years.

A plethora of pinball machines new and old alike. A classic pinball parlor of yesterday. Detailed descriptions above many pins with year made and fun facts. Take your kids here and let them see what kind of games you old schoolers spent your money on instead of phones and apps. There's even a 60-in-1 arcade game with Zaxxon, Xevious, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc.

You can try everything from older quarter machines to new digital versions. Try the blind Tommy version...ask how to set it up so the bumpers are covered. Great fun!

First time was great, enjoyed meeting the owner and flipping some quarters in the old pinball machines.Don't know if it was a bad day the next time, but the owner was less than friendly and ignored attempts to cash another 20. Oh well...maybe next time if he's in the mood.

I loved it! My boyfriend and I are pinball enthusiasts. There were so many games that we had a hard time choosing one. Many of the games were $.50 some were $.75. They had gimmick games like Hercules but many of them were super fun and the regulars were very laid back.

This is a hidden treasure. The owner has purchased many pinball machines, and renovates them, so he is always switching them out so you wont ever get bored. I think there is about 50 of them at any one time, from the 70s, 80s, 90s. And it's cheap, 25 to 50 cents. And he will spend time with newcomers (often paying for their first couple of games) to teach them the ropes. There are tournaments here too. (Not open every day, so check the hours). Very friendly owners, and in a cute little town.

This place is a hidden gem...tons of old pinball machines including a two player pinball machine and an extremely oversized pinball machine. Definitely worth stopping for.
