Spent the day here for the NHRA event in July. Great location, views are out of this world. Facility is well maintained, and had very easy in/easy out experience. If applicable, pay extra for the preferred parking - totally worth it. Vehicle was close enough to go back to for restocking our supply of waters, and a quick exit when the evening was done. Night racing was fantastic, especially the jet engine dragsters. Lots of choices for food and drinks, and lines were very manageable. Enjoyed our experience here immensely!!

Went to diesel truck runs, my kids loved it. We got to sit in the premium seats because I had a CDL. Sweet! My kids were young enough they got in free, bonus! Make sure you bring your own cooler 12x12 (no beer) otherwise waters are 4 bucks a piece ! Staff was really nice. Really cool setting for a dragstrip! Definitely a great day with the family.

I come as much as i can and i love the track and area! It was a blast this year as i took someone who has never been to the NHRA and you cant even explain to them what its like so it was good for him to get to experience that!

Bandimere Speedway hosts the Mile High Nationals every year in July and they never disappoint! It is a top notch facility and the racing fans appreciate the efforts of the Bandimere family and staff to make this the best (in my opinion) professional drag race during the racing season! Also known as "Thunder Mountain", this is a venue that you must put on your bucket list, if you are a drag racing fan!

This dragstrip caters to customers with great seating, wonderful concessions, attentive personnel and an overwhelmingly hospitable experience. Scenery surrounding Bandimere Speedway borders on spectacular but what's on the track is even better! Mopar Mile High Nationals are not to be missed!

It is an experience with mixed reviews. We are not into racing, but the kids were part of the Race To Read program and earned tickets. They were pretty excited to go. It was interesting to see all the different kinds of races & all the different kinds of people. One thing we did not like is they allowed smoking everywhere and it was difficult to get away from. Not family friendly in that way at all. People were obnoxiously drunk in front of us, but we were able to move to other seats. It is incredibly loud - so bring headphones/earplugs. There are rides and food similar to a carnival. And in your luck if you like port-a-potties! The parking is awful and quite a distance to walk. We were told they were out of handicap spaces but "if you really need to", we could flag down a golf cart driving around. We did not see one until we walked up the first hill and they were already on their way down with other people. We actually just carried her up - lots and lots of steep, steep stairs! It was an experience!

the day at Bandimere was outstanding. the facility was clean and well layed out and there was something for every kind of motorsport enthusiast. don't forget your sunscreen cuz there isn't any shade and make sure you bring thoses earplugs cuz it's really really LOUD! lol fantastic family fun!

Bandimere gives you many options for comfort and access. Go for the package that provides you with lunch and a place to get out of the sun, get a cool drink and sit by an A/C! Plus snacks and a catered lunch. First class. Great staff that runs the track, and keeps the action moving.

Draws crowds from all over the country - allows you to park your trailer, 5-wheel and etc right there. East access, lots of family fun.

I absolutely love this event. 2nd year attending. Need.more shuttles in parkinglot. Plus the shuttles that are there are raising money for charity but charging to much. I would rather pay for VIP parking. Paid 10 bucks to park then another 15 for a ride to the gate, per day. Needs to change. The event ran great. I enjoy the track.

I'm not a race fan so this was a bad idea from the start but I figured the drag races might be interesting - and they were, but not in a good way. The best part was the people watching. Wow. It was like a Saturday Night Live skit. Real slice of life stuff. The worst was the venue. No shade, no escape from rain, tickets had to be scanned on your way in and out (they made us wait in line to get OUT when it was pouring rain), $7 for a bottle of beer (!) - not to mention it is just loud. Even with ear plugs. We saw their fireworks show from Red Rocks later that night. For that, I thank you Bandimere.

Bandimere has things happening all day, but we decided to keep our traditional day bbq and just head out for the race (around 7pm) and fireworks, boy what a treat it was! The race was fun and the fireworks were awesome. Highly recommend this to everyone!!
