The horses are well loved by their owners and cowboys. My husband said it was the best horse ride he has taken. Kevin, our guide, took us on a 2 hour route through streams up/down hills yet it was easy enough for an eight year old. The views were beautiful! We could tell the horses were well cared for by the order of the stables and the beauty of the horses. As expected, we did not do any trotting or running of the horses during our trip.

It took a while to get here from Vail, about 1.5 hours. Took the boys on a two hour trail ride that they loved. "Bob" was a great cowboy guide that took very good care of us and pointing our areas of interest with beautiful scenery.If you go, go early and make a day out of it. There are some great fishing spots along the way.

My husband and I did the 3-hour trail ride together. We had the guide, Andy, to ourselves and she was a wonderful guide. She was very personable & knowledgable about the horses. She told us how to steer the horses through all different situations. The trail was breathtaking; through woods, up on the top of a mesa overlooking the hot springs, across the creek and in open space. She also took lots of pictures and we have great memories now to show our friends and families. The other staff were very friendly & accomodating, especially Frank. The horses were awesome, too. I had Mrs. Cash & my husband had Boston. They were perfectly suited for our needs and experience levels. I will definitely stop back again if we're in the area.

We very much enjoyed this three-hour sunset trailride that took us across sage-covered flat land, up and down rocky paths, through forested areas, and across full creeks. The two wranglers leading our ten-person ride were personable, respectful and professional. The horses were well-cared for, and it was evident that eveyone at the operation loved all the animals. The operation has helmets that riders may use at no additional charge, separate restrooms for men and women, and offers a five percent discount if paying in cash.
