Excellent track, great conditions, and fair price. Good pace of play, wonderfully conditioned putting green, good pace. Everything I can ask for, we will play again next time we are in CO.
This is a great golf course! Not so challenging for the beginning golfer. Beautiful greens, a few Par 5's. Great course to have a party, corporate party. Snack bar and adult beverage bar. This course is reasonable too. I would recommend this course for a great day of golf.
Played nine holes with my son, daughter, and son's friend. Great course with great views! The price was right also.
Tried to hop on as a single and they put me on the wait list. No problem, I putted and hit some balls. When I went to check on possible tee times the starter informed me that they had a twosome but let them catch up to some friends to play in two five-somes. They canceled a full tee time ! Next available slot was over an hour later. Shame they don't let more people play. It's a nice course but I can't support that policy, I'm sure the city can't be happy with turning away golfers and revenue either.
Played the front nine on a Monday afternoon with relatives and enjoyed the layout as well as the driving range and putting green. A couple pars and a couple 8s added up to a 55, which is pretty close to my playing level. Beautiful views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
We enjoyed this course...well kept , some very scenic holes, lots of different shots, etc. We played the "blues" on a Saturday but the tees were moved up so we actually were playing the "whites". As a first time group of 4 we were somewhat frustrated as there are some blind tee shots and had to hit a 6-iron off the tee a few times. I would be better able to summarize this course after one more round but all in all it wasn't bad.
Found this to be a very nice well kept course. Large attractive homes along the fairways give it a touch of elegance. The rental clubs were well used but very adequate. The people in the pro shop friendly and helpful. The costs were reasonable for what you get. One complaint, in 18 holes we never saw the cart girl who was supposedly working.
Legacy Ridge provides a challenging track, especially from the tips. Great views of the Rocky Mountain front range as well.
Very interesting golf holes. A lot of tee shots are placement shots where you don't clobber the driver on every hole. Greens in great shape and overall condition very good.A bit pricey if you are a weekend golfer but there are a few deals available if you look hard enough.
While on a visit to Denver and staying nearby in Westmister, we made a last-minute decision to play golf on a Sunday afternoon. The hotel desk recommended Legacy Ridge -- and we were not sorry. This is an excellent and tough course, even compared to many private courses. The public prices were nice. The course was well-maintained and in great shape. I can't remember any bad lies (at least none that were caused by the course ;D). We plan to play there again next time in Denver.
Recently played in a corporate outing at this course, and thoroughly enjoyed the round. The greens are very difficult, especially for a business outing, but the course was in great condition and had some great views of the area.
Just north of Denver in westminster this course is well Maintained and has a challanging layout. Greens were running about 11 on the day I was their. need to play a few times to learn where not to put ball on greens because of the slop. Will be back
It truly pains me, PAINS ME, to give this low of a rating to a course I used to love.I've golfed here dozens of times. It's in my neighborhood. I used to go with friends or family and have a relaxing round. But today was different: today we were hasseled by staff around every turn. It was unreasonable, unprofessional, and it taints what is usually a fun and relaxing course. I wish I knew the names of the jerks that were working today (one middle-aged bitter dude, and one quasi-kid who was on a power trip). Last year's staff was WAY better. They must have graduated from CU and moved on with their lives. Can't say the same for 40 year-old golf pro. Eat my dust.
Legacy Ridge Golf Course is a challenging and well maintained golf course. With water hazards on the side of the green of the 9th hole and a 450 yard par 4 on number 14, the course is fun to take on. The course just built 2 new restrooms, one on the front 9 and one on the back, which is a nice luxury in city golf courses.
