they did a wonderful job on there improve. Everyone had a great time . The drinks were average price and the food was OK. The audience joined in on some of the skits
This improv comedy place was a lot of fun. The actors are very talented and definitely kept us laughing. The only thing that bothered me was how loud it was in there. We did sit near the front so maybe it's a little better in the back, but everything just seemed so loud. Despite this it still made for a fun evening with friends.
This place is great! So much fun and an excellent way to do something different for a night out. The show was funny, the theatre was nice, and we were able to get tickets the same day. We will be back!
A family comedy club, that starts you laughing from the moment the show starts to the moment the show ends. Laughed so hard, I was crying. ..haven't done that in years. Will have to come back with more friends and family. Well worth every penny spent!!!
My family has been here many times... it's always funny and we always have a great time! The humor is clean and it's something the whole family can enjoy. Will most certainly be back again and again.
I have been here atleast 5 times and some of the times I brought my two sons with me. We ALWAYS have a great time! The comedy is clean and the crowd involvement makes it even more fun! The show is different every time too. It's good for a family night out, and also for a date night. I highly recommend!
We have been here three times, each time has been a blast! Great cast, all are incredibly talented and hilarious! Will be back again soon, thank you Madcap for providing a great time!
The folks at MadCap are sure to make you laugh. Think "Whose Line is it Anyway" without commercial breaks. I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a wholesome night out. Most comedy clubs enforce a 2-drink minimum to make you think they're funny, but MadCap doesn't have to because they're funny enough. Great for kids.
My husband and I took our boys, 12 and 17, to this improv comedy show on a Thursday evening. It was HILARIOUS! There wasn't a very big crowd, but everyone who attended participated. I thought my youngest would be too shy, but he blurted out ideas along with the rest of us. The performers are funny, friendly, encouraging--they ask for suggestions throughout the show. The performers just have to roll with the audience's ideas, and they sure can think on their feet and are hysterical! It is family-friendly; there was no cussing, and the host told the audience up front that suggestions need to be "above the belt" and clean because they like to keep their show fun and friendly for all ages. We highly recommend and will return when we are in the area again! As an aside, I have to mention that another distinguishing feature of this attraction is that they had the best toilet paper in their bathrooms of any place we went in Colorado (hotels, restaurants, or attractions)--I know that's a weird fact to include in a review but it made me laugh! We did have a little trouble finding it, but if you can find the big AMC 24 and park in its area, you are in the right place!
I came here one Thursday evening, the price of the ticket was great for what you got. Improvised comedy which was so funny and also a small bar area selling sodas, alcohol and light snack.
This is an amazingly good time without any vulgarity!!! Russ and Brian do such a great job engaging the audience. I've been many times, and have never been disappointed!!!
Madcap theater was way funnier than we expected for our out little town! They also do a fun birthday party!
I have been to MadCapp Theater at least four times with family and groups. It is good clean entertaining fun. These guys and gals put on a very professional show and work with the audience really well! We have never been disappointed when we have gone.
I was really impressed with the Improv skills of the actors here. Keep in mind that since it is not rehearsed it is not near as funny as watching a good stand-up comic. That being said, the price is reasonable and the beer/wine service is quick. We went on a Saturday night and the theatre was about half full so it is nice to not have to deal with a large crowd. Overall I recommend checking it out for something different, especially if you have kids (the humor is all very clean).
I went solo, so it wasn't as fun for me as it was for those in a group. Still it was much better than watching TV or going to a movie. The improv banter was quick, clean and clever. They do have a limited food menu (something not mentioned to me when I called for a ticket and mentioned I was running behind and needed to find a place to eat before the show so I didn't taste any of the food). The servers did a good job of keeping the beverages coming, however.
