We checked out the Summit today, they had a doorbuster special for the kids at my school, $20 got you lunch, an hour of bowling, laser tag and $15 arcade game card. Great deal and the place is clean and the kids had fun! The arcade games are expensive, but different options than you would find at other places. The store to shop for prizes is a fun experience, gives the kids the opportunity to shop and see the prizes out in the open rather than behind a counter. Will be back, great place, check for specials before you go, I think Wed are half off.
It is a fun place, there is a lot to do. The bowling was fun, but the laser tag is really fun. You can play arcade games and they have ok food.
We booked a party here for our hockey team. They were able to accommodate our large group in the restaurant area at about 11am on a Saturday morning. We all ordered food and they were able to accommodate separate checks by family, which was appreciated. The consensus was that food was good, the menu had a nice variety, and was reasonably priced. The boys played laser tag, which cost $8 per person. They had fun with that. We also played a bunch of video games, which generally cost about $1 each. They had some unique and interactive games such as Pac-Man on a huge screen where you're actually playing against 3 other people, and Connect 4. Fun for us to see some games that were not violent. We did not bowl, so cannot comment on that. Would definitely visit if we return to the area!
For a family outing over Christmas, this is a great place to go. Bowling isn't cheap (I don't know when this happened, but prices everywhere are pretty steep) but I do like the 60 or 90 minute options instead of the per game basis. Everything is new so the lanes and balls are nice; the software running the games is seamless; and the place is clean and well-run. There is also lane-side service for food and drinks (great beers on tap, although we only had pitchers of soda). Overall, great time and will likely check it out again when the family gets together.
We contacted The Summit twice to confirm a party of 21 for a dinner party and bowling - in which the girl on the telephone told me both times, this was fine and that they can handle the volume and will have tables for us even though it is first-come, first-served. The evening we arrived at 6:30 pm, and were informed that all bowling lanes were reserved for one party and would not open to the public until 9:30. The girl on the phone did not tell me their bowling lanes were all reserved that night and I specifically told her we would be there at 6:30. We had 17 very disappointed girls and some frustrated parents. The website lists public bowling hours and yet they rented out every lane leaving none available to walk-in guests - this is pretty poor business. They alienated everyone of us in our party, and I am sure the 100 or more other walk-in guests. Laser tag was fun; the food was fine. Dining service was very poor - 45 minutes to wait for a table and extremely slow waitress who had only our table to manage. 40 minutes for drinks alone is not reasonable. This is an excellent idea for restaurant and games/fun, as we have no Dave & Busters in Northern Colorado. However it is evident the management and owners know little to nothing of customer service and have not trained their waitstaff. I predict they have few return guests and will not last long before they sell.
i was there for lunch not the bowling or video games so i can't help you with that. service was prompt and attentive. my prime rib sammie came fast but on a wednesday afternoon there was no crowd to speak of to slow it down. good portion, served very hot with tasty au jus. quite good. my side was a chili lime slaw which fell flat - i was expecting big flavor and it just wasn't to be found. next time maybe the sweet potato fries will fare better. looks like a great place to watch a game with attractive beer selections and price. lots of tv's. i would not suggest the summit if your looking for a quiet getaway - the place is noisy but, duh, its a bowling alley!! give it a try.
We thought to go check this new place out and play a little bowling; eat some food, etcAs soon as we walked in and got a list of the prices for bowling, we decided to walk around and see what the scoop was (as in why so expensive). Beautiful place that includes an adult area in a separately enclosed bar/bowling lanes room. We watched the Game room, the bowling area for families, restaurant, etc. It was loud, mediocre food, and high prices for everything. We left and don't plan to go back.
Mostly because this place is brand new, it's still exceptionally clean. I expected it to be geared more toward teens and young adults.... My husband and I had a blast and our 5 year old had the best birthday here! Of course my teen fell in love with the place and is ready to just move in.Everything points toward bowling here but the arcade is a blast. Didn't try laser tag yet.... But I'll be back.Arcade card has a point system and when you add money you have the option of collecting additional points. More money equals bonus points :)The restaurant had amazing food! I was very surprised. Normally places like this have greasy pizza and hot dogs. This place has a full menu with very tasty food. A full bar compliments this establishment, making it quite the adult attraction.
