Beaver Creek is the Best, it has a variety of green, blue and black runs for everyone. The runs are very wide. The trails are well marked when you come to an intersection too. Some very good places to eat at the base of the mountain. Read my reviews on the restaurant here.

There is great variety at Beaver Creek, and it 's fun to ski over to Arrowhead and Bachelor's Gulch. I had previously only been here for day trips from Vail, but there was plenty of good skiing to keep my group happy and challenged for a week in February. We liked the fact that with a group of mixed ski level skiers we could ski in the same area with a choice of runs, and easily meet up at the chairlift or part way down a mountain.

We've been coming to Beaver Creek for nearly two decades. We go to other ski resorts every year but BC is our favorite. Super family friendly with great ski/snowboard runs including easy access to and from Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead resorts. If you'd rather snowshoe, BC offers a vast Nordic park with miles and miles of beautiful trails. The village is stunning with a true Alpine feel - lots of terrific shops and restaurants. Don't miss Thursday Night Lights during the ski season! Lighted parade down the mountain followed by fireworks. Also, don't miss hot chocolate by the lifts in the mornings and freshly baked cookies at the base of the runs in the afternoons. AND - Beaver Creek is also beautiful in the summer with several great hiking trails and mountain biking too. There are lots of great rental units as well as hotel rooms including the gorgeous Hyatt right at the base of the mountain. Special events abound with several happening at the fantastic Vilar Center. During ski season, free shuttles run by most of the accommodations every 15-20 minutes from 8am to 5:30pm. Before and after those hours you can call Dial-a-Ride for free transportation. Beaver Creek is a hidden gem between Vail and Aspen. It's not as crowded which makes it a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Don't miss it!

You cannot get better snow and runs like this anywhere that are this good . The staff are THE most friendly and helpful in the world. Wide long runs - fast lifts and now added the gondolas as well. Great runs for beginners and the Double Blacks. Restaurants all over the mountain, fun challenges through EPIC Mix

We have been to Beaver Creek many times now and it never disappoints! The staff is great and efficient. The lift lines are usually non existent, but if they do get long they move very quickly! The bus system is great for getting around the local area. The mountain is well kept and well marked. There is a variety of terrain and it is easy to navigate. You can be on one area of the mountain and go to another and it feels like a completely different experience! For beginners the best part is the green runs are at the peak and run down to the base, this is not the case at other mountains. There is not as much "extreme skiing" here as there is elsewhere, but for families and groups of skiers with varied skill levels it is awesome! This has become one of our favorite resorts and we cannot wait to get our daughter on skis and into ski school there! The Apres Ski options are great at the Beaver Creek Village....C-Bar is our favorite! Great food, drinks, beer selection and free champagne at 3:30! Hard to beat! The Ritz at Bachelor Gulch is also an awesome experience!Lunch on the mountain can get pricey. We like to bring snacks along and enjoy the apres ski specials when we are done. This would be the only negative of the mountain and I think is a negative of most ski resorts!Beaver Creek is an awesome experience and gorgeous resort and mountain!

Well-maintained area with skiing for everyone. Enjoy the varied terrain and scenery. Village surrounding ski mountain is beautiful - amenities include escalators!!! Fresh cookies are serve to guests daily. Hardest part is deciding whether to dine in Bacjelor's Gulch at Ritz Carlton or C Bar and Chop House at Beaver Creek lifts.

We have been to Beaver Creek many times but this last trip made me realize why it is truly a favorite. The staff is so professional and helpful at all times. It is our most expensive resort but our family thinks that the cookies that are available in the late afternoon until 3 p.m. are totally worth it. So cool to see the bakers walking around offering cookies to everyone. The equipment is perfect and everything is well marked and well kept. We will continue going to Beaver Creek for many years to come. The bus system is perfect also for getting around. We have been there without a car since grocery and liquor stores were so close.

Beaver Creek is fast becoming one of my favorite places to ski in the world. It's so vast, it never seems to be crowded, and you get a really rustic feeling when you're on the mountain. Plus who can beat free cookies ;)

First time to Beaver. We always went to Breck, Vail & A Basin but never made the little longer drive to Beaver. We missed out but now we'll be back.Beautiful resort. Lifts were not packed. Great runs. The run down to the Ritz for some shots also made the day... *The only negative is the rental process. I was 3rd in line & it took over 40minutes from start to payment. Staff was very nice but everything was in slow motion. 15 of that was trying to pay, as the 1 clerk kept going to the back for things.

OK, I am sure that I may be the only person on the planet that is not totally blown away by Beaver Creek but here is my reasoning. One, it is an inverted mountain. The easiest stuff is on top of the Clinch Lift. That means that you are taking at least 2 lifts to just get a couple of green runs to start your trip. Not a bad thing but not making life easy for the 1x/year skiers. The other thing is that there are lot of traverses to get to where you want to go. If you are planning to meet someone or get to someplace by a certain time, you will want to have mapped out your route. Especially late in the day as some lifts close at 3:30. Last thing was that there are a lot of converging trails. If you are a good skier, you may be coming down a black or blue run and right into crossing ski wee class. If you are a lower level skier, keep your eyes always up hill as some one may be coming fast in your direction out of the trees or crossing run. On the positive side, the snow was great. The gondola option on the Centenial lift is really nice, especially when it is snowing. Oh, and if you want to get away from the crowds and try some steep but wide blue runs (you can also find trees and bumps) go to the Arrowhead side of the mountain. That was easily my favorite spot.

We've been skiing Beaver Creek for over 30 years. It's got it all, lots of good varied terrain, good grooming, a great ski school, great lodging and restaurants. The staff understand the concept of service. Another plus is that there aren't too many day skiers form Denver. In the summer there are usually events taking place, hiking, fishing, horseback riding and a challenging golf course.

Lots of places for the intermediate / Expert skier here. We had excellent snow, and good grooming on days where there wasn't any.

Beaver Creek is our go to ski resort! It has great ambiance, a whole lot of skiable terrain, with enough variety to satisfy any level skier.

From the minute you arrive you know it is going to be a special day. The greeters, escalators, guides etc. Everything is set for your enjoyment. But wait...the mountain is awesome. We skied our legs off. Apres Ski at Powderhouse 8 with Shannon Tanner on guitar is not to be missed. Yes the choc chip cookies at 3PM is a cool treat as well as the free champagne toast at 3:30.
