O'Dell is a terrific stop on any day of the week. If the weather is nice the patio is a great place to lounge and sip on a few choice brews. We like Sunday afternoons on the patio. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is outstanding. We are not spring chickens and for that reason we tend to feel more comfortable here vs. New Belgium. Beers are better too!

You know you are in trouble when your guide says, "I don't talk loud." If you don't talk loud, don't be the tour guide. Our guide was about 5' 10" tall, red beard, backwards cap, probably early 30s. If you see this guy, don't bother with the tour. The first room has enormous vats that emit loud hums. I have good hearing, and I picked up about 10% of what he said. No one asked him to speak up, because he had already defiantly stated, "I don't talk loud." I asked a 22-year-old woman after the tour, "Did you hear anything?" She confirmed that her young ears heard nothing. Keep in mind that I was one of the CLOSEST people to the guide -- that's how quiet he was. The third stop on the boring tour was the bottling room, which would have been the only interesting thing to see, but alas it was not being used due to maintenance. We went on a Friday. Trust me, that would be the ONLY interesting thing to see. They should not run tours if the bottling is not operating -- simple as that. After the 20-minute tour mercifully ended, we did receive a free sample (an incredibly bitter ale) and got to relax on their beautiful patio. I love the artwork and design of the place and the bartender woman was gracious and funny. This review is about the TOUR. The Anheuser Busch tour, by contrast, was really interesting, primarily due to the interesting tour guide (imagine that) who could easily be HEARD. The Anheuser Busch tour has eye-popping sights because the sheer scale is so enormous. If you want to hang out and drink beer, O'Dell is a great place. The tour, however, is disappointing to say the least. It is free, and you get what you pay for in this case. I say to O'Dell, for the love of any and all deities, get a LOUD and charismatic person to lead the tours.

Their outside patio is the coolest place in town for FAC. Grab your co-workers and be prepared for a crush of people. It will be super fun.

My crew went here on our second of four brewery stops!!! What a pleasure. We sat inside and enjoyed our amazing flight of beers. There were a few different flights of beers to choose from. Sneak peak---get a flight but then ask for a taster that is not on the list and they will give you two free sips! The Nitro Lugene is a must. The tap room is comfortable and inviting.

In a town full of breweries, Odell is one of the oldest and biggest. They have an excellent patio, which faces West. The beer is too middle of the road for a town like Fort Collins. There are a number of breweries in town making more interesting beer than Odell. It's a good place to bring guests though.

It used to be that the standard of quality local beer was New Belgium here in Fort Collins. O'Dell has been around for as long or nearly as long, but has kept the local feel and the quality of their product is unparalleled. They invested a lot in the taproom here and it is one of the coolest, most vibrant places to hang out in Fort Collins.Their Pale Ale (including IPA) selection is amazing and as mentioned you won't find better anywhere.a variety of local food trucks and taco carts rotate outside so you can always grab something to eat. They are generally very good but also tend to be expensive.

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take the tour; however, we did taste the beer, walk around the grounds, and even ended up buying a growler of deliciousness. The people were very friendly and the patio is lovely. Definitely a superb brewery with great atmosphere and more importantly, beer.

The beer was amazing, but the night we went it was so crowded there was literally no place to sit. It was a little less personal than some of the smaller newer breweries in Fort Collins such a snowbank or funkwerks.

I liked the flight of beers I had. I liked the interior of the brewery. I really liked the shirts. Staff was ok, but not the fun sort of folk I am used to at a brewery. It was a Thursday night so maybe an off night. Still go.

Love your beers big and hoppy, this your place. Grab one of the co-pilot trays to explore the latest releases or settle in style with their classic pilot tray. Regular live bands, very active in the community and have a continuously rotating and highly varied menu supplied by local food trucks. Odells is a must see for every visitor to Fort Collins.

We went Sunday for a drive to Fort Collins. My son had his dog, and this is one place that is dog friendly. They did a good job of renovating. Inside and out it's very nice. Good beer. They don't serve food but depend on a outside vender.( Which don't bother the price is beyond reasonable. 2 sandwiches $16. stupid.) If O'dells served popcorn or peanuts or something it would be great.

We stopped in the tasting room and ordered two of the tasting flights to enjoy. Our party enjoyed the beers and varieties a great deal, and could have spent more time here had we not going to new Belgium first. The vibe is incredibly laid back and the bar tenders incredibly knowledgeable about there beer. Great place to let the afternoon get away from you.

I work for a major beer brewery here in Ft. Collins. Odell's is the most favored by my fellow workers and most people I know. With so many choices, it's the local's favorite. The brewery if fun and relaxing! Sit inside or outside around a fire pit. If you want to try some craft breweries in town, start here.

Odell Brewing Company is always packed on nice days, and with good reason. Their new patio is wonderful, and there is often music to listen to while you taste as well as a good variety of local food trucks. Their beers are so good that even a non-beer snob will love them! When our sons visit, trips to Odell are mandatory! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well.It is one of Fort Collins' finest!!!!!!

ChrisH235

If you're visiting Fort Collins and making the requisite tour of the numerous craft brew houses, be sure to set aside time for Odell's tasting room. First of all, "tasting room" is a horrible understatement as the recent renovation and expansion of the outdoor patio makes this destination an all-afternoon event! Complete with a circle drive for various food trucks to complement the well-crafted malt beverages, Odell's is a must-see (or see multiple times) venue as various local music artists entertain throughout the season. CHEERS to Odell's!!
