I went here on Martin Luther King day and just wow. The service was great, my 3 kids had a blast and the ice cream was finominal. I had a chocolate shake that was better than what I've ever had. The managers Mike and Meeta were so pleasant and recommended that I go over to Breakers Sports Bar and Grill where I enjoyed a steakhouse burger. My day was incredible and there's no doubt I'll be back there before I know it!
I had the most amazing time the staff was wonderful all had on smiles, what a great arcade the kids didn't get lost. They had a huge rock climbing wall and the decor was amazing. Gabby and Meeta both made our day fantastic and when we heard about the delicious honey mustard wings. At breakers sports bar and grill we decided to stick around. My cousins had there amazing delicious one of a kind Ice cream that they made. In the parlor. If you looking. To do for the super bowl there having a party at breakers with many flat screen tvs all around where you sit
Look its a fun place but expect to pay $$$$. There are a lot of other places to go to have fun. Your money will go twice as far at a place like adventure land
Fun little holiday park. Saw Santa and fun house and train ride and skating. Perfect for the kids. Not too much and not too little
We were looking for something to do with our young twin girls. We found Bayville Adventure Park last year. For a very reasonable price, you get a seating at 1 or later in the afternoon. Very efficient registration process by email or phone. Price includes a choice of three nice entrees for the adults and good kid's meals. Cocktails available as cash bar. They really do it up nice. The staff cant do enough for you. Includes a "midnight countdown" at the end, "Frosty and "Rudolph" characters, balloons, hats and noisemakers. Complimentary champagne toast for the adults. Also includes attractions in the park such as the little kids train outside by a ice skating rink. We brought family along including grandma, aunts, uncles and friends and their kids. We did this two years in a row and everyone loves it. Check it out next year.
This is about the 5th year we went here for NYE. The price is about $35 per person for dinner, a New Years count down and using the attractions, such as the light show, funhouse. The dinner is fabulous with very excellent service so that's what makes it worth the money. A strange thing this year is you go to a ticket booth to pick up a bracelet, but even with our bracelets we were told to find someone in a blue shirt not in the restaurant building to seat us. We knew our table from other years and just sat down w/o running around tracking a person down. We even had the same waiter as last year, he recognized us, he was great! Walking around seeing the lights and going through the funhouse was really good. There is an arcade that in the past 2 by ears that has games that keep breaking down! It seems odd that the arcade is not in tip top shape!
Cute for kids but a little pricey. Ice skating, train ride, visit with Santa, winter characters, arcade. Kids seemed to enjoy all.
The following is my opinion of this place: Do not eat here!! Do not go for new years eve! Entire table of ten adults had steak and it came from the kitchen ice cold! Meat at McDonalds is even put in the garbage if it sits to long. I just left the place and McDonalds would be considered fine dining compared to this place. Let me explain. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to protect my fellow americans. I'm going to try to convey how terrible the food and management is but trust me, it's worse then it sounds. Ten adults and five children came here for New Years Eve. We were one of the first families to arrive. There were 110 people according to one server and 175 according to another. People crammed into the place with 4 .... yes 4 servers, no bread... nothing on the table. The kids were starving and we were too. We sat there for almost an hour before the appetizers came out and that was after complaining to management a few times. The appetizers were ok but the kids all had nothing, so they shared the appetizers. Another half hour and more complaining that the kids and us would like our food and it finally came out. Like i said ice cold. Not cold, ice cold. I asked the workers to touch the steak to show them it was ice cold but they refused. We were told that even though we were one of the first to be seated, they have an order to how they serve and we were served last because of where they seated us. The table behind us complained too. They stated that their steaks were cold and i believe somone may have had hair in the plate and lipstick on the glass they were given although I over heard this and did not actually see it. They asked for a refund and we did as well. They said no refunds and did not offer any accommodation. I exchanged info with that table because they were going to write the health department and go to court if necessary. I tried to reason with the alleged manager to no avail. As I was exchanging info with other disgruntled patron I was told to leave. I took a picture of the person escorting me out and he gave me the middle finger. I tried to get a picture of that but he put it down to fast. Needless to say the kids were upset and our new years eve has been a hassle. I'm going to see if i can given no stars but if i have to give a star to post this i will. Besides the food, the exprience for new years eve was terrible. No noise makers until you beg for them and fend for yourself for hats and balloons, no characters walking around for the kids. Terrible. I have to give one star to post but it doesn't deserve it. Save yiurself the trouble. Again everything you read is my opinion.
Had my daughters birthday party here this weekend. Meeta was so professional and accomodating. All the kids had a blast!! Have many family parties there as well and everything goes smoothly every time!
It's ok for children. They will like interacting with the characters in costume like Frosty the Snowman, or a giant mouse or the Reindeer. Meeting Santa was fine. You don't wait that long to take pictures with Santa . The walk through Captain Bay's Yo Ho Holiday lightshow was ho hum. They will enjoy themselves but for the money involved, this place makes you pay and you really don't get the value. The Bayville Holiday express train ride is very short even when the place isn't crowded. 2 little trips around this small ice rink that last less than about 2 minutes. You can sit around a fire pit roasting marshmellows but they charge you $2.75 for about 4 marshmellows and the attendant actually asked us if we wanted skewers. The arcade is the biggest rippoff. You pay for a Bayville "credit card" that the machines use and you can spend $20 in the blink of an eye. The machines give you back tickets when you "win" that you can use for prizes which are small little toys but you have to win hundreds of tickets for the smallest toys you ever saw. Children don't know costs, but the parents feel it. Other places like Chuck E Cheese lets you play games for a long time on a small amount of money. You can pass the time there without breaking the bank. Best part of the park is Santa's toy factory funhouse in 3d. You light up in black light and you have to be careful of the fun mirrors as you can bump into the glass if your hands are not in front of your face, but the kids will like this. You leave the 3d glasses in a bin at the end of the attraction so I am guessing they recycle the glasses or maybe they just re-use the glasses. I wouldn't be pleased if you wear glasses that someone else has worn but who knows.
I had a chance this year to take my daughter and her best friend to see some scary/spooky things to celebrate Halloween. Friend of mine recommended this place based on her daughter's revues. We visited the place on Wednesday evening before Halloween. It was a good call. Middle of a week and not too crowded. We also purchased our tickets on Groupon and saved a lot of money that way. I highly recommend to purchase the VIP tickets. They allow you to move forward in the line and this way you save a lot of time. There is five different attractions there to see and every one of them has something a little different to offer. My favorite one was Bloodworth Hunted Mansion. It was by far the most scary. My two girls screamed their longs out and kept on hiding behind me. Actors portraying the characters did a great job. Decorations/special effects are incredible. I highly recommend it. Just don't take any small children with you as it may be a little bit too much for them to handle.
Good way to spend an afternoon with the kids. Good mini golf and clean park overall. Would definitely return!
I celebrated my Daughter's 10th Birthday Party and it was above and beyond the best time we had . Special recognition to Meeta and Staff. She made all the planning stress free, very courteous, accommodating and just overall very professional. The park itself was very clean and beautifully maintained. Bayville Adventure Park did not disappoint. Great attractions, bumper boats, bungee jump, ropes course, etc. My kids and guests had an amazing time! We will definitely be back!
Very disappointed with this park. We paid for a one day pass for over $35. The park is so small that you can finish everything in an hour. There's a jungle tree, like an obstacle course, water bumper ride, trapeze, maze, mirror maze, miniature golf, and arcade which is not include as part of the admission. You're better off paying for each activity. DON'T pay for the adult price as you will most like only be watching. The place is clean, but not worth a $35 day pass. The restaurant around are decent. The beach next to the park is clean and very nice kept, that deserves 4 stars.
We parents and kids love this park. It's not big but very cute and clean. Our kids loved all the rides especially the bungee bounce, jungle tree top and water ballon fight. I think most rides are for kids 7 or older and not afraid of height. Jungle Tree Top is pretty high if you climb up there. Food is alright at the snack section by the arcade but more choice if you order or eat at Wreckship Tavern next door. It's connected to the park and can just walk through.
