I visited with my nieces Girl Scout troop . The girls learned a lot about trees and syrup . They found it interesting that people could live so simple and not need to spend alit of money .
If you hate crowds, this place is for you! Went here with family, friends and 20 month old. They charged us each $8 per person (baby free). Plenty of animals to touch and feed which was the bets part about this place. The pumpkin patch had very few pumpkins spread around (I did go later on in the month so maybe there were more earlier on) so I collected a few to bring them close together to get a good picture with my son. There were cool scarecrows too. There was a hay ride but we didn't ride it (I assume it cost extra). I think you could buy some snacks but not real food. I was disappointed there wasn't any hot cider to buy. I did see kids were painting pumpkins which would be fun but my son is not old enough to enjoy this. Good bathroom facilities. Overall if you live out on long island or are visiting friends and family this is a great place to spend an hour if you like animals. A little overpriced for what you get but it is a farm and the animals look well taken care of. Again, if you hate crowds and need a cute pumpkin photo opportunity with your kid-this place is for you! Oh and the staff was really friendly too!
This farm is a great place to visit with the kids, it's almost like a petting zoo with farm animals, hay ride, and pumpkin picking. There was a band playing and a few other activities for the kids. The only thing I didn't like too much were the prices: $7 admission for an adult, and $3 for corn on the cob, and $5 for a burger, plus fees for the hay ride etc. If you bring a family, that will cost you more than you planned.
