Perfect place for little kids and those of us who never want to grow up. I love Adventureland because it has everything you could want and is a close drive from anywhere on LI. The kid rides are great and plentiful. All the standard carnival games but without the shady carnies. Every fair food you could want from fudge to pizza. The "thrill" rides cannot be compared to Six Flags but that's not what you're looking for in this park. The roller coaster packs a solid ride into a small space, pirate and log flume are good and the haunted house is pure nostalgia. Best thing is free admission so you could wander around and enjoy the atmosphere for nothing and I have stopped in to drop $5 on a quick coaster ride. Adventureland is over 50 years old this year and I hope it's around another 50.

I have been going to Adventureland for about 45 years and it is still fun. Prices are good for food and rides. Buy the Pay one price deals for good savings. Lines tend to be a bit long but they move fairly well. Parking is a bit trying as it gets crowded but shouldn't stop you from visiting.

I went here this past summer, and i was not very impressed. The lines were endless, and the food was not very good. Most rides were fun, but some were obviously old and worn out. I wouldn't go back by choice, but it wasn't unbearable.

We have been buying the season passes for the last few years as we live very close by and the pass covers about four visits if you would buy the pay-one-price bracelet. I love the pass b/c we can go whenever we want, weekends (we leave if it's too crowded or if it rains and I don't feel bad having spent all that money) or weekdays after camp! The park is small enough that I don't worry about my 10 year old getting lost if we break up and the kids know the park really well so I can say "meet us at the teacups..." There are good rides for the little ones up to teenagers. The best time of day to go in my opinion is on weekdays after 5pm. The camp and school groups are all gone and there are still hours to enjoy the rides, with no lines!! Bring your bathing suits for the mini log floom and the big one, too! And the alligator ride. A new coaster is being introduced this year and my kids can't wait. Park opens at the end of March! So the season pass is good from then until Halloween when the park closes. That's 7 months!! :)

We were just there this past September and June. We try to go once or twice a year for a fun family outing. Have 2 kids 11 and 9 and they love going here. It's a nice amusement park, not overly huge but not too small either. There is a variety of rides for every age. Grew up on Long Island so have been coming here since I was a kid. Recommend getting there when it opens. The first 2 hours there are usually no lines. Have only been here during the day with family, so do not know what it is like at night time. The food is typical "theme park" food. You can get a POP bracelet or pay as you go with tickets. There is NO admission for anyone who would like to go in but not ride. Highly recommend Adventureland for a fun filled day with family and friends!

Adventureland is tons of fun. It can be crowded and some of the rides aren't appropriate for teens, but it's still a lot of fun. They will enjoy many different attractions. My only problem was that when my family went, the Log Flume wasn't open, which really but a damper on the trip. There are many places around park with ice cream and other types of food. The roller coaster closed down unfortunately, but they are making a new one. It's a lot of fun, especially for children under 14. Once you have teens ages 15-17, it's not as much fun, but it still can be. I will be returning with my family for more fun.

I have 4 kids and I tell anyone who will listen about AdventureLand. I remember going my whole life and now I bring my kids there.1. The prices are decent. In recent years the POP bracelets have gone up more than I would like to see. I think if they kept them at $20, they'd get more people and more frequent visits. They are nearing $30 which is starting to get out of my budget zone.2. Food - you will not find another amusement park with better prices and better food choices. We all know to expect gross, over priced food at amusement parks. Adventure Land does not fit that bill. Their food is reasonably priced and good! 3. Rides - there are many more rides for the younger crowd (under 10) than for the older crowd. However there are so many rides, they are all always in working order, they are clean, they are safe, the attendants are great!4. Staff- I love that all staff wear these bright yellow shirts. It is easy to tell my kids - if you get lost, find someone who looks like this. Also - you feel a sense of safety, everywhere you turn, there is a security guard.5. Parking is free and they do their best to help accommodate everyone - opening up parking on the street, directing you to nearby parking lots where they must have a deal with businesses that own them.6. You can spend the entire day from open to close here and not get bored.

We just spent a day at Adventureland, and the kids loved it. We had kids ranging in age from 3-12 and they had a good selection of rides for everyone. (Though kids over 15 or 16 may find it a bit juvenile.) It's not as large as some of the major amusement parks, but it's big enough to provide variety and the smaller size makes it more manageable. The park is kept clean and staff is friendly and helpful. A bracelet for $26.50 allowed the kids unlimited rides, so they happily ran from one to the other and sometimes repeated a ride they really enjoyed. The bathrooms were neat and available. They also have arcade games and carnival type booths, but those cost extra. I would advise arriving early on busy days to avoid long lines.

Visiting from Florida, this venue doesn't compare to the parks that I am used to but my children enjoyed it. Many of the rides are dated and the train ride comes with a healthy dose of exhaust fumes that I wish my kids didn't have to inhale but my children enjoyed it and that's what matters the most to me.

This is a wonderful park for the entire family. There are lots of the rides, but most of them are especially for the little ones. Even though this was my first time there, we had an excited day. There's an option to purchase the POP bracelet for unlimited rides or just purchase tickets for single rides, or maybe just visit and enjoy the scene. The alligator ride is great, the Pirate Ship, The Hurricane Roller Coaster, the Tea Cup, Ferris Wheel, Aliens Encounter, Music Express, Lady bugs roller Coaster and lots more. Be sure to hop unto the train for a ride to have a beautiful scene of the entire park. Enjoy a good meal at the restaurant. This is really nearby, so go visit and have some fun.

Being of the Baby Boom generation, I remember how much I used to love Jolly Roger and Nunley's Happyland. Adventureland is probably as close as you're going to get these days. Definitely get the POP bracelet if you're staying for the afternoon. Try to go early if you can. It's a zoo and parking is nearly impossible at peak times (weekend afternoons/early evenings during the summer). Try to avoid them. A fun day out with the kids and it really is something you have to do. So suck it up and take them!

WE had a great time, it was a little more pricey then I expected it to be for a bracelet for all the rides. Summer was the perfect time to come since they have water rides, we were able to enjoy them all.

I have been coming here for years, about twice a year. My kids enjoy it at all ages!! Teenager still insists on being invited with the younger ones. It's a pretty descent local attraction. Something to do when you don't want to go far or spend too much money. It's not the cleanest place and could benefit from renovations and upgrade. But, it will do for now.

They have the option of a day pass for all rides or you can purchase separate tickets for individual rides. Good places to buy refreshments. They have rides for young children and rides for the older ones. The kids love it.

As expected the lines are a bit long, but it is no different than any other summer venue. The difference is that it is right on Long Island. That means only 30 minutes in the car instead of over 2 hours for the closest theme park. Rides are well maintained, park is clean, bathrooms are good, and for the most part it is very entertaining for the kids...
