captain lou fleet

On the nautical mile they have some party boats owned by the captain lou fleet. Recently my boyfriend had to cook on board for a small wedding on one of the boats. This boat they keep at the very end of the mile and its just the prettiest boat ever. I went inside to pick up some stuff the next day and its all windows, fit quite a few tables, and area for a buffet, band if you wanted, and had an upstairs with a nice bar. When i get married i would love to have my wedding here. Really romantic and fun boat!!

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The boat was nice and big, clean too! The nicest charter I've been on thus far. Just wish I didn't live so far east of it.Was a bit concerned why we were only allowed to be on one side of the boat and why the boat moved spots constantly & kept the motor running, but I caught 4 fish that day and took 1 home, which is better luck than I've ever had, so I was a happy clam. Note: Be prepared to get there early as parking is limited. The tiny lot is odd and you aren't able to get in OR out unless the boat before you comes back, so on second thougth... I'm not sure if it matters that you're early because you may have to move your car again like I did. Get there early to find a parking spot on the street. Also, if you have a Groupon, go to the office first and THEN get on line at the dock.

Just got home from our half day fluke trip. My son is 7 and he's been begging me to take him fishing since he's been able to talk. So glad we chose Captain Lou's Fleet as our fishing boat. The staff was so professional, constantly checking up on us, so friendly and attentive. I can't remember everyone's name, but thanks Joe, Danny and to all of the employees. I will Definitly be returning.

I have fished a ton of boats all over the east coast and I wish the ones in NC were as nice as the Lou fleet. There boats are clean, fast and their crew treats my kids great. That actually gives me time yo fish as well!, I've gone on their boat several times and recently heard they are adding the biggest dinner boat to their fleet. I've already looked into a private party for my daughters sweet 16. Highly recommended. Food on board and they don't charge too much for the food either! Fishing equipment was brand new and the cabin smelled nice and clean. Parking is right across the street in their own load and it's free. They are also one of the few boats that take credit cards.

I have been fishing with this group for many years. Their most recent addition to the fleet is The Starstream VIII vessel. I have been fortunate to join them on multiple trips 60 to 80 miles offshore. There are few opportunities in the tri- state area to enjoy deep water fishing without owning a 6 figure boat, or paying an enormous fee for a private charter. The offshore trips are "open boat" opportunities that cost under $170 for a 20 hour trip. The crew is quite attentive, insuring that you have the best equipment and have the technique down to maximize your fishing experience. The cabin of the boat is enormous and heated. There is plenty of room to get a goods night sleep on the ride to the fishing grounds.

I was planning a surprise 50th Birthday party with Miss Freeport V and A WEEK BEFORE MY EVENT they called to tell me their boat was not ready, regardless if you had a contract, which I did...it apparently does not matter. Frank Rizzo, the owner of Miss Freeport simply said to me he was sorry. You can only imagine how extremely frustrated I was when I had to try to find another boat ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!! I asked Frank Rizzo if he had any suggestions and he just said 'Im sorry', my boat is not ready, as I was expressing my concerns he HANGS UP ON ME!!! My guests were flying in from Florida, driving from Connecticut and from New Jersey expecting the surprise to be on a boat and I had no boat, thanks to Mr. Rizzo.After I cried for about an hour because of the frustration...(and a special thanks to Frank Rizzo, for hanging up on me), I tried to pull myself together and called CAPTAIN LOU FLEET hoping they would be able to help me out. I could not contain myself and told them what FRANK RIZZO, owner of Miss Freeport V did to me. In a matter of minutes Melissa, the office manager of Captain Lou Fleet called me back and says to me WHAT TIME DO YOU NEED THE BOAT FOR?? I almost fell off my chair! I could not believe they had the date available. The employees at Captain Lou Fleet were very professional, very organized and very accommodating. The food was very good, the boat was clean, beautiful and bigger than that Miss Freeport V.I for one depend on customer reviews when I need something and I wish people would post more reviews and be true to them.PEOPLE IF YOU NEED A PARTY BOAT, DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. DO NOT GO TO MISS FREEPORT. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE COMPLETE LIARS!!!CAPTAIN LOU FLEET IS DEFINITELY A BETTER BOAT. THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING. THE CAPTAINS NAME WAS MIKE AND YOU WOULD NEVER THINK YOU ARE ON A BOAT SINCE I DID NOT EVEN FEEL IT SWAY ONCE. HE TOO WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. AGAIN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAPTAIN LOU FLEET!!!

Took the nieces with us, great time had by all. Both girls caught their first fish. Mates were extremely helpful and the Capt knew all the good fishing spots. Can't wait for till next season.

I fished on the Starstream which is part of the Capt Lou fleet. I was a very unhappy customer. I have fished on many party and charter boats over the years. Most of the mates were like 15 years old and were incompetent. The current was strong and the Capt announces that we need 10 oz sinkers, which I didn't have. I asked the mate for one and he tells me they don't have enough to go around since everybody needs them. They have got to be kidding me. The mates just paid attention to the regulars. I sat with a tangle for 15 minutes before I could get a mate. And the fishing was pathetic that day. Mates were not busy. I will never waste my money on this fleet again. For now on its just Captree for me.
