That Irish bartender girl brings a cloud of doom and depression to the place. She's seems to have been driving customers away for years. That's why even with the renovation unless the have pleasant workers it won't work.Superbowl Sunday was empty.And she was there!

Nice, big neighborhood bar. About 2 years ago they bought Kelly's Pub and redesigned and renamed it Mooney's. We had high hopes for a local spot with good pub food and a friendly atmosphere. What a disappointment. I have been here a number of times because it's so convenient for a few of us from the area to meet over a cocktail. We often travel further because this place stinks! The sisters that serve as bartender and waitress are miserable and don't cooperate with each other. They seem to bicker about who should be serving food and/or drinks and leave the customer trying to figure it out. They rarely smile and are inattentive. Food takes FOREVER to come out. In the summer, the air conditioner is either broken or off! We have left several times and took a cab to another bar because we were SWEATING! Of course never an apology because these people don't care about service. I don't know how this place stays in business! Horrid.
