Feel and hear the ocean waves and relax in the soft sand. The best way to spend a Long Island day is at the beach. Worth the visit. I haven't been there since Hurricane Sandy. Hope all is well.

Not many people can go on the beach as it is small but it is a hidden Gem. NO facilities so you better bring what you want to eat.

Not as far away from town as you think- this quiet little community is part of the town of Babylon. Once you get there- you feel like you are a million miles away. A beach walker's paradise.

Very quiet, good place to let kids run around. Easy access to Ocean Parkway. Fishing when snappers are running.

The people of Oak Beach who complained so much about this landmark eatery, ruined this spot. My grandmother used to enjoy Sunday brunch there, and on a Friday or Saturday night, you could have the best time in the Summer, hanging out dancing, singing karaoke, or walking along the pier. Now, there is nothing more than a parking lot, and broken glass. What a shame. Shame on the greedy residents who didn't want to share the space.

not much to see or visit by car, I go here and fish and dive by boat. great place to collect tropical fish in august,sept. october, No retaurants and not much of a place to walk. two good jetties for fishing

The fishing docks are nice, the beach is tiny and filled with glass with no lifeguard in the summer months so no swimming. Nice view, nice place to stroll or dip a fishing line in the water or just take a break from commuting on the Ocean Parkway.

ロングアイランドから海上に伸びる自動車専用の橋を渡ってジョーンズビーチアイランドのオークビーチへ行ってきました。海の水は透明で周囲に雑然としたショップなどもなくてゆったりと寛げる場所で私は大変気に入ったのですが、最近行方不明となっていた4名の女性の遺体(遺骨)が発見されたとのことなので「近づかないほうが良い」に変更してご紹介させて頂きます。
