imaginarium children's museum of the north country

3 of my Grandchildren love to go, to them there is lots to do hands on. A tad pricey for a family to go but good entertainment for a couple hours.

I brought my two girls today. They are ages 2 and 4. The lady brought us around the place for a tour. There is a ton of stuff to play with for all ages. Everything is second hand, but kids do not care. They really put a great effort into this place. I will definitely bring my girls back.

I have never seen such a charming place for children. It is truly amazing what they have put together here. My little ones are 1 and 4 and they absolutely loved it. They spent close to 4 hours in the play areas. The science laboratory looked amazing. My 4 year old and I had a great time in the arts and crafts sections as well. Great job Imaginarium. I wish there was something like this close to home.

We visited with a 1, 4, 5,6,7,8 year olds. They all loved it. We went on a Friday the kids did not have school. It was "Science Friday" . The wonderful lady Tara, showed the kids about static electricity and let them make snow indoors too! That along with the exhibits kept them busy for over 2 hours of fun!!

The Imaginarium is fun and educational. My daughter enjoys visits there--she is 3. There are lots of exhibits and displays that evolve so when you return there is usually something new to see or do. It's perfect for a rainy day. They also have lots of events. I'm glad that this Museum is an option for my daughter.

A fun little gem in Plattsburgh. Lots of great, engaging activities for children to participate in. Plus, they also have fun events every now and then. The Princess/Superhero Ball in early March was great! Dancing, snacks, and volunteers dressed as "real" princesses and superheroes. Definitely worth a visit, your kids/grandkids/ etc. will thank you!

Plattsburgh is lacking in affordable, quality activities for kids. This museum is fun and entertaining for young kids at a ridiculously low price of $4.00 per person. I'm proud to recommend it to anyone looking for something to do with their kids!

We had my daughters 6th birthday party here with around 35 kids and every kid had fun. There is a lot of interesting this from small rock wall, kitchen area, science area and more. Very reasonably priced for the amount of people attending. Staff was great. I would recommend having a party and would also think it would be fun for kids anytime of the year.

We stopped in for an afternoon visit and I went in not sure what to expect. It was not a "real museum" in my mind. (We've been to the Boston Science Museum and the Smithsonian.) It was an activity place for the kids really. Especially great for younger kids. There was a bigger play room for kids younger than 8 years old and would be great on a cold or rainy day. They do have an interesting "Science Lab" room. My kids had fun for a couple of hours just checking out the variety of the science oriented activities. Parents must be present but it is something for the kids to do at a low cost.
