Seats near the middle are less roomy than middle front, sound system wasn't too great, the words were hard to understand. Tickets had to be picked up at window, way too small for that! Line was too long,crowded,1 woman at window. Liked other shows but sit closer!

I have been there many times and they truly put on such wonderful performances. I've seen a Christmas Carole dozens of times, which was phenomenal every single time. They have a bar downstairs for the older crowd and offer many comedy nights. The pricing for tickets is very reasonable.

This is a theater we come to often. We don't have to know what show they are performing because they are all good and professionally presented. This an old theater on Main St. in Port Jefferson. The building is constantly being improved and kept clean and safe. It even has a wheelchair lift to get you to the theater level. We saw the play don't dress for Dinner and it was excellent was worth seeing. The parking is not good and that is the only complaint I have.

Went to see A Christmas Carol this past weekend with my husband and 2 daughters (11 and 9 years old). The show was amazing. It is a quaint little theater in Port Jefferson Village. For local theater, we all were so surprised how awesome everything was. The acting was outstanding! The stage props were incredible. We all really enjoyed a night out at Theater Three. We will definitely be looking to see what shows they have coming up so we can go back. It was such a fun night out with my family. We arrived early so we did not have an issue finding a parking spot as others have mentioned. It's a great place to catch a show local. we can't wait to go back!

We support the arts in several venues on Long Island and would go to Theater Three more often if it were easier to park. That is my only complaint. But the offerings at the theater are outstanding and the club below is wonderful. We especially enjoyed their production of Anne Frank and will be there this winter. Suggest you get there early, find a parking pace and walk around the Village.

Theatre Three is a non-profit community theatre worthy of local and long-distance support. The stage offerings are both varied and professional. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy their Long Island Comedy Festival presentations throughout the year as well as their outstanding Mainstage productions. The theatre also offers a concert series during the summer months. I don't know much about their Children's Theatre aside from the fact that it exists. The seating at Theatre Three, having been recently refurbished, is quite comfortable. Their sound system and acoustics are superior to a lot of entertainment venues we've frequented. Their restrooms are always immaculate and well-maintained.Upon reading the other reviews, I noticed a complaint concerning parking. We have never found this to be a problem. However, if you are uncertain about where to park, or whether you're in a legal spot, simply ask at the theatre's box office. They will provide you with accurate parking information.Theatre Three is a reasonably priced alternative to NYC off-Broadway theatrical productions! I strongly recommend giving them a try.

Great variety of shows with excellent talent. Reasonable ticket prices. Excellent pre and post theatre experiences available in Port Jeff Village. Really should consider though adding a chair lift for the disabled.

My friends and I absolutely loved the show, "Amber Ferrari's Pearl"!!!!! Fabulously professional performer, as was her band!!!! I am, however, reviewing the theater experience, hence minus 2 stars. We entered with what we thought were our tickets, waited on line, only to be told that we needed to go to box office to GET our tickets..." do I look like I have a scanner on me?" slightly rude....ok.... got "tickets".... had to wait in first line AGAIN!!!!!.... which, btw, included standing awkwardly on stairs! LOVED THE SHOW!!!!! Walked to car to find parking ticket!!!!!????? NO SIGN ANYWHERE indicating ANY illegal situation.....We surveyed the area for almost 15 minutes..... NO CLUE as to the "reason" for the ticket!!!! We had noticed a show that was advertised on billboard that we were interested in....BUT.... need to let time heal us before ready for any more anxiety related to this theater experience!!....ps... 2 of us traveled from Queens!!

This is an excellent Theater which we have gone to in the past. It is an old building in the heart of Port Jefferson. It is well maintained and is being refurbished. It is open during the refurbishment. It has great shows for both adults and children. I don't always know what show is being presented and I don't really care. They are always good and professional. The shows last about two hours and usually start at 8 P.M. They have matinees in the children's theater and do shows on preventing bullying for schools. At the Holiday time they present children's theater for school children.
