lakeside trail

We walked this every day of our vacation. Great views with plenty of places to stop and sit. If you go early in the morning, you practically have the trail to yourself.

There is not a "trail head," just park and either start way down by the beach, or by the restaurants. Most is sidewalk, so you can use canes, strollers, and bring your dog. Nice view of the Lake.

Great place to walk around. You can take a boat tour or rent a boat. Lots if shopping and close to the Main Street in lake George.

Love the Adirondack chairs along the waterfront, great place to sit and meet other people. Very relaxing

This trail has vistas that will take your breath away. It's challenging in spots but worth the effort.

I never realized that the lakeside trail was so large and that so many restaurants and activities took place there. It is a wonderful place to visit.

We spent a lot of time here. Its lively and takes you around the lake. Water, beaches, boats, food, bars, steamboats, parasailing etc...there is plenty you can see around as you take the lazy walk. Note that most food joints are expensive. The park is nice, even though its small.
